It works OK!
I was worried for some reviewers' comments regarding the Joey bag moving side-to-side when placed on top of a carry-on...It turned out the problem is solved if you attach the velcro strips back once you placed the Joey bag on top of your roller bag, so it works OK!The reason for the 4-star rating is basically the foam base, which does not match the bag's depth, so the bowling ball pushes it backwards and therefore keeping it from remaining at the center of the bag...

Works great for my spare ball
This bag works great for my spare ball. I got fed up with bringing my 3 ball roller bag in and out of the house. This bag allows me to leave my spare ball in the car if I want. It also has a foam insert at the bottom for your ball to rest on, which is nice.The only negative is the elastic backing that slides over the handle bars of your main bag stretches a little too much if the ball accidentally flips around to the back of your roller bag.

The bag will spin around the handle if you don't keep and eye on it and try to catch it. It needs a way to fasten tighter around the bag handle.
