Product is nice as usual of all Taparia items but this can only be used to cut any wires or cables and it's not suitable for stripping wires. Only experienced person can strip wires with this as it needs lots of precision to strip wires with this tool so for stripping a dedicated wire stripper may be used

Sometimes one is able to know something only by experience. This is true for this tool. Though it doesn't have a spring, and opens clumsily, it is quite a help. It can cut ropes, plastic cables, studs (when we use studs for screws, at times the stud has to be cut to a smaller size) very easily. At times we have to cut very small pieces of wood for inserting in holes or filling, this tool does the job quite easily. Think of the other alternatives, scissors, knife, screwdriver etc...! From my side, a handy tool, which frankly when I purchased it, appeared to be a waste of money.

I am adding 3 star rating to tapariya product for the first time, only because of the insulation cover , its insulated cover got damaged in few days. Rest cutter is good as expected Tapariya should improve the quality of plastic cover

Been using often on cycle and some other cables sub ~5mm and find these really great. Taparia makes good stuff. Much better value than speciality brands like Icetoolz etc.

It cuts 35 sqmm multistrand copper cable like butter. Oh my God!. Earlier, I used all available possibilites to have a clean cut. But always ends up messy. This one cuts so neat and clean, that you will have to find imperfection only through a magnifying lens. When I bought it in amazon, it was just Rs. 310. Now it is Rs. 360. Just buy it without second thought. I forgot to take pics of the cable cut finish. I'll post it soon. Do not try to cut steel wires. They will spoil the edges of the cutter. This is made for cutting soft metals like copper, aluminium, brass etc..
