Honest Reasons☺️
The Yongnuo 50mm f1.8, a lens .Can it be used as a replacement in place of the canon or nikon 50mm? Well here are my honest opinions. Bought this today and will be giving my opinions on the difficult conditions where it struggles i.e the night and indoor... I attached 3 photos from which one is indoor... If you have a decent amount of light then it will not struggle to focus and track the subject. If a light is bit low like the black one it will take 2 to 3 time tos focus and checkout the post-processed image.. Was that dope?.. Lightroom things .. In daylight no doubt it can give the best it can give.. Didnt observe any low sharpness images.. however it can be fixed via other softwares .. Very small amout of color fringing can be seen which is quiet rare .. Low on price? Wants that background blur bokeh,,, close your eyes go for it whether Nikon or canon... Downside is only the autofocus... Not slow as snail neither fast as leopard.. Go for it.

Decent lens at this price
This is a perfect buy for budget oriented people .Lens works fine ,the autofocus is average it keeps hunting for focus ,it is better to be used in manual focus mode .. the pictures taken are decently sharp they are not extremely sharp when compared with nikon lenses ... but for the price its a nice buy , I would recomend people to go for the nikkor lens which is about 12 k if you have enough money otherwise this is a perfect buy

Average but it serves the purpose.
If you are not too much into photography or you know how to use manual focussing, then only buy.The auto focus is just waste. So you need to manually focus it every time. Other than this. The lens is superb.the picture comes bright and lovely...

Great Lens for the price
I am using Nikon D5300 for my food photography(insta name: theredcumin) and this lens provides what I actually wanted. crisp and sharp images with great focus on objects. I use this lens in manual mode so for me motor sound and slowness is not problem but for auto mode it really makes some weird sound while rotating and focusing.Plastic quality is low compare to Nikkors.Without a tripod or monopod it can produce blurry image sometime but that's true with all the lenses.Good Low light photographyCovering details

50mm lens yongnuo

Value for Money
Yongnuo 35mm and 50mm have a difference of 2500-3000 Rs. considering my APS-C camera i was more interested in 35mm however, i came across this one day shipping for 50mm at 6600 which seemed very attractive. i didnt care much about comparing looking at the price, it is already a steal deal. after receiving the lens i did 3 photo-shoots in natural light to really test this lens. below is my review and findings:Pros:1. at 1.8 you can get Nice background blur and really make your pics look awesome.2. it is lightweight and i havent taken it off the camera in last 4 days.3. it is not possible to get such good quality from any lens below 12000 which is obviously NIKON and i got this lens at half of the price from what NIKON is selling their 50MM for.4. if lighting is good, you can click crisp photo and it works like charm as you move up from f/2.8 and really crisp photos at f/4.5 for my Nikon D53005. Small, compact, easy to carry.6. Manual Focus button, if lighting is bad or there is low light you can switch to Manual mode and focus. and for videos it is really good option to use Manual Focus.Cons:1. Auto Focus struggles to focus in low light and i tried shooting at night on streets, it works like a charm on Manual focus but Auto Focus gives up in low light.2. not always but little bit of sound while focusing at times but that is not a concern because i shot videos in Manual mode and for Photos sound doesnt matter.Apart from that i didnt really find any issue with this lens. suddenly all the Photos started coming out good with this lens. i shoot Raw so after post processing i didnt really have any complaints. i have not use NIKON 50MM lens so far so cant really compare but what else one can expect from a lens for 6.5k and for anyone looking for a portrait lens in budget this is recommended. I am yet to explore a lot with this lens, will write more update after a month and will attach some pics.

perfect value for money lens.Works well in right conditions
It is a excellent lens for beginners new to potrait photography with primes, you get much more for what you have paid for, material is much better than the canon version of it. focusing was better too.It shutters a little while while focusing on lowlights, and a little less sharp in low aperture which is obvious, other than that it's perfect. For more pics you can visit my insta I'd. r_a_z_o_r_i_n_e
