Nova Hand Grips (PAIR) FOR 4200/4201/4202C/4203/4208/4218/4220/4222/4224

Used to replace grips on my eight-year-old rollator which had seen their last days!

These were super difficult to put on. They are now made of a harder plastic (probably for durability) but my grandmother complained that it hurt her hand. She seems to have gotten used to it but it literally take King Kong strength to put them on!!!

All reviews that stated that the handles would be hard to put on we’re right. As other customers advised spraying rubbing alcohol in the grips made them easier to slide into place. Perfect fit.

Work great and because they are so difficult to install stay put when you get them on

The old grips were loose and kept falling off. These new ones are the perfect replacement. The only problem was figuring out how to put them on. They are so snug that I could not get them on at first. I put some oil lubricant on the rollator bar but that did not work. Eventually, I figured out that if I rubbed WD-40 on the inside of each grip, I could then twist the grip onto the bar without a problem. Would have been nice if the grips came with instructions instead of having to figure it out on my own.

Fit and form very good. I cleaned all the previous glue with lacquer thinner and ruffed up steel with 120 grit sandpaper. Sprayed hairspray in the hand grip and slid on. Be very quick because it sets fast.

Review how to install instructions before installing and you will be happier with the results.

Use rubbing alcohol as a lubricant to install the grips. Clean any old grip from the handle, apply alcohol on the handle and inside the grip immediately before installing, position the grip for the correct rotation and allow the alcohol to evaporate overnight. The hand grips will be nice and secure the next day.
