A smart, well paced movie that has it all, action, suspense, romance, and a classic storybook ending in a generation that attempts to put too many mind bender and noir endings in movies. It's a refreshing thing to feel good and euphoric at the end of a movie nowadays, and Waist deep has that Going for it.

This is definitely a classic and unexpected turns. I truly love this movie

The movie was good and a lot of action. It was not as good as The FOUR BROTHERS. Tyrese Gibson and Mark Wahlberg should team up together in a future movie dealing in gangs in a exotic location such as Cuba or Jamaica.

great film with an outstanding cast.lots of action in this filmgreat story only down side is the game just isnt the best actor,but i would definatley recommend this film to anyone

Ich muss zugeben... am Anfang war ich sehr skeptisch ob dieser Film mich unterhalten könnte, aber, er hat es!Sehr viel Action und Unterhaltung mit einer überschaubaren Story, ich bin zufrieden mit diesem Streifen und es hat sich gelohnt. Auch wenn eine Szene dabei war was mich nicht so sehr beeindruckt hat (villt. hätte man diese auch weglassen können...) aber dennoch ist dieser Film sehr gelungen. Diese DVD war innerhalb von 4 Tagen da, super Versand und gut verpackt.Empfehlung!!!

Ich habe den Film aufgrund der vielen positiven Rezensionen gekauft und war schlichtweg enttäuscht.Wenn man Action auf Ballerei, Gewalt und Verfolgungsjagden reduziert, mag man mit dem Film glücklich werden. Für mich bedeutet Action aber auch Spannung und die bot mir der Film eben nicht. Ich hatte kein einziges mal das Gefühl, dass der Film ohne Happy-End ausgehen könnte.Das schlimmste war aber die im großen und ganzen leicht vorhersehbare Handlung und die Dialoge, bei denen man die Antwort im voraus schon kannte, wie z.B.: "Du hattest einen Sohn.." - "Ja, aber er ist tot" (schnief!). Ich möchte beim ersten Anschauen des Filmes bei den Dialogen nicht mitsprechen können!Zusammengefasst: ein durchschnittlicher Film mit wenigen Highlights (Stichwort: Schließfächer) der mich nicht überzeugen konnte.

This bd is excellent in quality. The story is quite straight forward, but the acting is not bad at all, considering the actors/actrices are not mega stars. I have watched this movie without falling asleep, so that certainly counts for the entertaining value of this movie.
