Merriam-Webster's Vocabulary Builder

The product was delivered well before the expected date of delivery. The Book though has small dimensions but is highly valuable and important to improve ones vocabulary. Content and text is simply great.

After Word Power by Norman Lewis, invest in this book if you want to learn words the right way. Initial impression is very good. Book size is super cute, a bit bigger than the mobile. Am still on Unit 1 as I have just started reading it today. Finished the Normal Lewis Instant word power and Word power before buying this.

This is my second favourite book in enhancing vocabulary after Norman Lewis's vocabulary book. I highly recommend this book for those who are willing to upgrade their arsenal of words. - explains root words - categorizes words based on their origin/root

It is designed in such a way which will help one lear word in a systematic way but expensive.

Not at all boring; unlike any other books in this category. I like to superscribe on the pages with many more cognates related to the root. It’s like fun game.

I am on a journey of self improvement and being more eloquent is one of my goal for 2026. The vocabulary builder is designed to introduce new words to your vocabulary as well as how to use them. So far I have been introduced to some new words and there is a comprehension to assess if you understood the words and an answer sheet at the back of the book. Issue 1: I wish the book had part of speech similar to dictionary. This can be deduced from reading the examples but I still wish it was there from the beginning. Issue 2: if your vocabulary is already extensive, this may not be the book for you since alot of the words may already be in your everyday vocabulary.
