Maintaining beard is not easy now a days and the truth is growing it is difficult as well (for some) 😁.Recently I come across this beard oil totally unaware of its effectiveness. Well now I can make other people aware of what it does. It leaves your beard( the new trendsetter)smooth and nourished. If one can style his beard it looks really impressive. I am using Renaissance oil from Captain thug and I am totally satisfied with the results (thanks to its fragrance & quality). As I am a recent user so I don't know much about growing more hair but on a positive note I hope results will pop up soon 😁

I had used the other beard oil variant by Captain Thug called 'old world' which gave me promising results. Really, other beard oils are just lubricant to your beard but Captain Thug actually works. I wanted to try a new flavor, so I went with 'renaissance'. I can say that my experience has been good so far. The oil is nicely absorbed into my beard so there's no oily/greasy residue. It also has a nice smell to it which is not very strong and manageable. It really promotes uniform hair growth even in patchy areas and makes your beard soft and shiny.

It's just awesome. Make beard soft and the reason is their ingredient. Jojoba oil is best to make beard soft. smells good. Will buy it again if price will not increase :)

This beard oil from Captain Thug is definitely an amazing product one should buy. Seems to have no added artificial fragrance or scent. That means purely natural & organic. Oil also helps in keeping the beard hairs tangle free and gives a nice shine to the beard. It softens the beard hairs helping manage the beard. Overall i would rate a 5 star for making this amazing oil for the beardos. :P

Pros: Quality and usability of the oil is good. Works well and does the job a beard oil is supposed to do. Non greasy and light.Cons: Scent, a big no. Doesn't smell like Citrus at all as mentioned. Smells like a pain relieving liniment.Verdict: I will go for Beardo anyday over this.

I bought this for my son because he uses beard oil so this one smells much better than the other he uses.hes just started using it..I believe it's a good quality oil

I have been using the beard oil fir past one week now, everyday. Sometimes twice a day and sometimes only once. The difference can be seen quite clearly, I never got this much growth before. It also makes the itching go away. It also smells good.

Personally I don't find it of much help. Moreover they changed the product's oil contents in my second purchase which I believe has deteriorated any positive affect it may have had.

I have a full beard and have used beard oil in the past so I was curious to see how this Captain Thug branded beard oil compares. The bottle sent to me for review was nicely packaged in a small box wrapped in plastic. There was intense fragrance in the envelope in which it was mailed to me, but I did not detect any leakage. Like other beard oil I have used in the past, it comes in a small bottle with an eye dropper dispenser in the cap. To use the product you wet your beard with water. Put 3-5 drops of the beard oil in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and then rub them all over your beard and mustache. Use a comb to distribute it throughout your entire beard evenly. I use a wooden beard comb purchased separately from Amazon, but even a plastic comb will work just fine.Beard oil takes numerous uses to appreciate its advantages. With time it will help soften your beard and make longer beards more manageable. This Captain Thug Renaissance scent is a very intense citrus scent with what seems to be some eucalyptus in it. It’s a pleasant scent but, despite its intensity, does not seem to linger for very long.Overall, I like this beard oil. It compares favorably with other brands I have used. And I do like this scent. It looks like it sells for about $8.95 a bottle which is competitive with other brands. Even though the 30 ml bottle seems very small, this bottle of beard oil will last a very long time even with regular usage. Hubby, in his elder years decides not to shave cause it is too much trouble! So, he decides to grow a beard and says ...beards are high maintenance! Yeah, I know that, and I can see that he isn't well instructed on how to take care of beard. He looks worse than Jed Clampett. But, I got this beard oil and I like the smell. Light smell, and it doesn't take much to put on fingertips to moisturize that scraggly beard. You get a lot of oil for the price. It has a dropper to distribute on fingertips. The oil gives it a moisturized look and feel. Use it everyday along with the beard balm.

My son-in-law has a beard and he really likes using beard oil. Captain Thug Beard Oil has a strong scent that he likes. This is a masculine scent. It is strong but not overpowering. This helps control the beard and make it look groomed. It’s a good product that does not irritate the skin.

This is a really nice, strong smelling oil that is almost choking at first, but then settles down to something somewhat manageable. A little goes a long way, so this bottle will last a while.It's hard to describe the scent: the best I can say is that it reminds me of a yoga studio. It's not quite "old spice" but more "lighting incense to cover up weed smell." I like the scent, but there's something a little... cheap? sketchy? I don't know. I'm on the fence as to whether it evokes a positive reaction from other people, just like I'm on the fence between 4 and 5 stars, but right now I'm inclined to round up... but I'm interested in trying other scents from this brand to see if I like others any more.

I've tried many different beard oils, but I definitely love this stuff. It keeps my beard nice and soft. And more importantly, I no longer get the flakes that I used to get. Always annoying when you comb or rub your beard, and it looks like Tony the Tiger was enjoying a bowl of cereal on your face. Plus the scent of this stuff is good. I like it, my Wife digs it, and that's what matters. I recommend it. If you know someone that has a beard, treat them to a bottle of it.
