Moen 22174 Sink Basket Strainer with Drain Assembly, 2", Stainless Steel

I need a small sink system and decided to buy this drain. I purchased below three items and it works like a charm! No leakage and I didn't need any extra items. These three items fits perfectly and works very well. It's easy to remove and install. Draining hole size fits perfectly for my sink and draining tubing system. Brand name stuff better work like it suggests right out of the box. I am not getting a cheaper price by buying some off brand and this Moen Sink Basket strainer worked perfectly, as expected. So far I have not had an discoloration or anything happen so it means the stainless steal is good and it fight tight in the hold along with a little putty it sat right down and hasn't leaked a drop.Watch videos on how to put this in if you need to, but really it's as straight forward as you can get and I was able to use this for an RV sink I installed in a motorcycle trailer and it was perfect.I hope this helped!

Fits better & stronger than cheap plastic ones

The media could not be loaded. Small drain assembly for bar sinks. 2 inch drain. Connected easily, clear directions, easy to install.

Easy to install and much higher quality than the one I removed.

These strainers were the smaller size I needed to go in an Rv sink replacement. The 2” was the perfect size compared to a typical 3” sink hole I guess as Home Depot only hade the 3” universal sink strainers there. Perfect fit with plumbers putty and great look with the stainless sink

Fit well and easy to replace (per my handyman).

The chrome sink baskets in our Class A Motorhome had become pitted and nasty looking. I replaced the with these Stainless Steel parts and they fit perfectly. It took 30 minutes to change them both out and they look great..

Just be aware it comes without a tailpiece but does come with the tailpiece gasket. Otherwise its fine.

Great little drain. Works as expected and fits the bar sink I’m installing in my rv. Not the moen brand as advertised. It still seems to be good quality though, and cheaper than picking one up at the hardware store.
