Hisamitsu Salonpas Pain Relieving Patches 140 Patches Per Box

I use these small patches on my feet for peripheral neuropathy at night. They work well and, with socks on, stay on all night. I have tried using the topical applications, but, of course, it wipes off too easily. These are the perfect (small) size!

We have used these from the beginning when the patches used to be white. The smell is less than traditional creams and rubs. The size is perfect for targeting areas that hurt. They last between 8 and 12 hours. We always have them on hand. But one warning, over the years I have noticed that if you are going to be doing stuff to make you sweat, your sweat will make them fall off, I mean a lot of sweat not just a little you have to be dripping cause the pads don't breathe.

I tried all sorts of balms and spray when I had frozen shoulder. But this works the best, feels good, and last for few hours. The medicine is strong so you cannot use it on the same area 2-3x more or else it will burn and make your skin raw. This is something that happened to me. These patches are strong but dang it relieved my pain. So worth it though. Helped me to sleep better at night and took less meds.

Helps my mother’s knee pain. The smell is strong, but it’s tolerable if it helps the pain!

We use a lot of these in my house. Like most Japanese products, it so well thought out, from the packaging to how easy it is to remove the backing. Despite the thinness they pack a punch. In Asia there are better large TCM patches but they are pricey and heavy gel that sometimes needs even more tape to stay on. Salonpas are affordable and so thin, I can put on several in one location easily and quickly. If you haven’t recently washed your skin, it may be helpful to use an alcohol pad to remove oil.

Compared with other packages of Salonpas, these do not stick as well. They have fallen off during use. Also, the package was delivered in a padded paper envelope. It was received pretty beat up.

These medicated pads are easy to apply as well as remove. You can feel the heat soothing your act muscles. A slight menthol scent that won't stain your clothes! 😀
