Item arrived quickly and adequately packed in Amazon Box. The screws are typical of mass produced items that are not adequately checked for quality but more interested in numbers. The heads that are cited as being Pozidrive but not the best as can be shown from the slippage factor when using the matching driver and the odd one not fitting at all having to use a cross point to finally tighten. Out of four boxes used to date (not all from Amazon but same manufacturer and box design) there have been 3 with no thread just head and blank shaft, two with upset heads, three with slippage damage and two snapped in use. This is quite a high failure rate. There has been similar results with other sizes but more with the larger sized screws than the smaller ones. When you look at the results against the costs one has to make up their mind whether these screws are value or not. I use them regularly and prepared to take the failures as in 99% of cases it does not cause a major problem. If you have high value or high quality product may be you need to go for a better quality screw at a much higher price.

I have been buyng ForgeFix for a long time . I purchased a new shed in september and the screws provided were dreadful quality. ForgeFix saved the day. shed is as solid as a rock. This is also true of the screws provided for padlock and bolt fittings always poor quality and not up to the job. just buy good screws at a good price. I work as a gardener/handyman on a large private estate and have every size Forge Fix screws to hand in my work shop because I never know what I'm going to have to repair or make from one day to the next. Well made screws at a reasonable price, they won't let you down.

Used to build a fence. Not one bad screw and none snapped. Would use again.
