These are great speakers. I'll start by saying i'm no "audiophile" nor do i need monitors for professional reasons. I've now had these for 3 months and i'm quite happy. I spent weeks debating if I should get these over other options I considered. I am not disappointed. I live in a 600 sq ft apartment and these definitely fill the space. The speakers deliver great audible bass that is clean sounding in my opinion. Audio has great clarity and I am picking up instruments and sounds in music i never knew existed in some songs. The speakers deliver smooth sounding audio over bluetooth that is not fatiguing to me. I also get similar quality wired via RCA. Some things i would suggest to consider is placement of these speakers. Because there's a bass port for the woofer on both left and right sides plus on the back for the mid, you want to give these speakers a bit of space from the wall and do not want it up against furniture to the side. Also maybe place it forward from your TV or monitor. If you're using these speakers on a desk/ near field they deliver sound that almost feels like there is a center channel speaker between them which i think is cool. I mainly stream my music and prefer to use Spotify. I think these speakers do very well for my taste of music which is gospel, RnB, Soul, Funk, jazz, reggae, afro and hip hop. My biggest gripe about these speakers is the choice to use a din connector instead of posts that can provide flexibility by use of speaker wire or banana plugs. It's an odd choice to me especially if you want to replace it or get a longer cable I have struggled to find a matching connector. I assume this helps sounds quality and reduce noise. The cable is about 8ft which should be enough for most people. That is just enough to place them on the sides of my 65 inch tv if i wanted to however with limited flexibility to positioning. I want to give it 4 stars because of this but i'll give it 5 for the aesthetics, sound and build quality. When you learn to appreciate what you have and the value you're getting instead of being a pessimistic enthusiast that is focused on what could be better (there is always something you'll convince yourself is better). You'll quickly realize these are amazing for the price being charged. If you plan to use this in a small-moderate sized room, and you like what this speaker features, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the quality you're getting.

These speakers are not too loud. I cranked everything and didn't get major amounts of distortion. Just some muddying since they are a more budget speaker and they are limited in capability. I'm not super fond of the treble (even maxed out) due to the soft tweeter material. So they do seem to have a "softer" treble which doesn't make any sense to me, but might be ok for a "flat studio monitor" sound (if that's a thing)? I found that due to the fact that they weren't crazy punchy, the overall sound is well balanced between the 3 speakers inside these and the bass is alright. I would definitely mix in a proper 8"+ sub if true bass is required as these are kind of lacking in real lows (20 Hz range is nonexistent due to the size of these). They are ok for what they are though, and will more than double the bass output of most standard desktop speakers. Also, the frequency cutoff range for each speaker seems to have been tuned relatively well (again, we are talking $400 CDN speakers). These don't come with a remote control, so they might be a little annoying to use if you want to mount them a little farther from you. I did expect a bit more from these and would like to get a good pair of speakers when my budget allows in the future. For now, I will be keeping these as I did get them on sale, and for the majority of my use case, (some video editing, lots of gaming [truck sim for rumble], and a little music) these are already better than the free ones that just quit on me (albeit not by much). If you have discerning ears, maybe wait till they are 30% or more off so you don't feel so ripped off, otherwise, keep moving and look at other options. Overall, for the price, 3.5 out of 5.
