Strictly for indoor use only
Device is accurate and fast. Less stars if for... company must inform that it's for indoor use only. It do not work outdoors. You can't point out the laser at daytime and hence device shows error.

Sturdy built.
First of all is got a sturdy built , measurement takes about a mere seconds. I hope It's not possible to measure long distances outdoors under direct sunlight since the laser point reflection fades on direct sunlight which the device cannot register properly. But I tried doing long measurement like measuring distances between buildings outdoor at night time which the device registers measurement readings properly since the laser point is clearly visible to the device and to the naked eyes during night hours. Therefore it is better to take measurements outdoors during sunset or night hours. The device can be mounted on any tripod for stability. Performance is upto mark as for the price it comes hence I would rate it 5stars out of 5. Anyone seeking to purchase these type of product can blindly go for it since it comes with a warranty of 1 year and the product has been physically checked and callibrated before dispatch.
