The Karate Kid: Part II

Great product

Surprisingly, it was just as good as the original. We did not expect that! So good that we immediately watched the next movie … Karate Kid III. Our grandsons loved it… Maybe the best sleepover we ever had! :)

I have always enjoyed this movie.......

I grew up during the time of Karate Kid and the Goonies, in a time where childhood was not all about texting and fortnite, but yet, we played outside and loved watching TGIF fridays, or when our parents would take us to see a movie. I had always loved "The Karate Kid" as it is probably one of my favorites from growing up. My youngest son is now 11, and has been walking around with a thick shoelace tied around his head. (Why, I have absolutely no idea) It reminded me of Daniel, and I felt compelled to sit down with him and watch the Karate Kid. And let me tell you, he absolutely loved it, and knew there were 2 movies after the first and insisted on watching the next one. He was beyond upset Alli wasn't in this movie, but still loved everything about the movie. I loved it too. Back in the day when movies were great, and you didn't have to worry about what your child is watching. Although very different from the first one, which will always be my favorite, I was absolutely in love with this one too. I remember being a young girl and being in love with Ralph Macchio. He was my first love, followed by Luke Perry (Dylan McKay). Wow, watching this with my little boy brought back so many memories from my childhood. I think parents who were kids during this time should watch these movies with their children. They don't make movies like this anymore. We are set to watch Part 3 this weekend. He is so excited.

Classic recommended for all the fam!

I brought this along with Part I, III and the Cobra Kai Collector’s Edition. All came all a different time but I’m not going to talk about that on this review. The main menu is similar to the first one, with scenes from the movie and music. If you want to know which Blu-Ray, look at my other review. Plays on your PS4 and the product cam without any damage. Even though this is my least favorite of the original trilogy, I had to get this to complete my collection. The barcode can be used to convert Vudu Disc to Digital, do use that to your advantage. Like the first movie, there’s not that many great special features. I would’ve wished for the “Glory of Love” music video in HD. But it doesn’t have that. But still a great buy, get it from Amazon for this great price while it lasts!

I know Japan a little and the ideas in this movie aren't as odd as they may seem to Americans. There are some Japanese who do act like this. It was a great movie...although the final fight was kind of unbelievable. Tamlyn Tomita is also quite amazingly beautiful in this one. I felt kind of ripped off when I heard that Elizabeth Shue wasn't going to be in it, but, wow, Tamlyn is so beautiful, I got over it soon.

Obviously not as good as the first one. But it's a great watch
