This was such a great product to use for recording while on my family vacation. I clipped it to my cross body bag and just walked hands free. The videos were clear, high definition and great. I plugged in the mic and wrapped it around the camera to capture sound. The battery lasted for 8 consecutive hours. I did switch from video to time lapse depending on the activity. Time lapse is an amazing mode!

This camera works well, especially for the price. The battery life far outlasts the last camera I've had(Several years old now) and the wide angle of the lens and night vision catches everything very well. I was not aware there was a vibrate feature which is very nice. My chief complaint against the camera is that while the camera is in standby, you have to press the record button to wake up the device then wait a moment and press it again to begin recording. I will note, though, that I contacted the manufacturer and they responded in less than 24 hours letting me know they were already working on a solution and provided me with the contact information for the technical support center to get it taken care of. (This is why the review remains at 5 stars) I have to look at the camera again to get the proper name of the feature but turn on silent mode. There is a button to turn on night/light mode which, without turning on silent mode, will turn on an audible loud siren from the speaker. I can't think of any use for the feature but it's there. For the price I cant see any way it would be a bad investment. If you don't already have a body worn camera and you work in security/law enforcement and your respective employer/agency will allow it (and they don't already issue one)... buy it. It's worth every penny. Eliminates liability, covers your butt in court actions, is capable of showing the public or any jury why you acted the way you needed to.

Out of the box, camera worked great with basic setup. The problems started when trying to complete the entire setup and customize some of the features. First, I needed to contact support because the menu settings in the camera did not match what they were listed as in the (very minimal) user manual. I contacted support with questions regarding the meaning and use of the specific menu items I was seeing. The reply was that these menu functions did not exist and I was to send pictures of the menu screens as I saw them. After sending the pictures, I was informed that a firmware update was needed. Support sent a copy of the .bin file for the update and I updated according to their instructions. (This exchange took 2 days.) [NOTE: Since support is overseas, a "round trip" message takes about 24h. This gets extremely frustrating when the response from support is one suggestion or one question.] After the firmware update, the camera would not power on at all. It appeared to be bricked. Support suggested trying to power on the camera with it plugged into power. I replied that I had done that already and it did not help. I still had a bricked cam. (Another 2 days worth of emails.) Finally, this morning, support told me to ship the cam back to them (and pay for shipping) and they would send a replacement. No thanks, I'll just return through Amazon and order a cam from another manufacturer. How could the manufacturer not have any idea what menu items were being displayed on their cams? Knowing the extended turn around times for U.S. customers requesting support, how could they settle for one sentence responses that were, more often than not, questions, rather than provide a list of things to try to get their product working? It's sad because this was a fair priced camera with decent reviews. However, it appears that this may be old stock that no one currently working at Boblov is familiar with. I'll be upgrading before even my first chance to take this camera into the field. Poor camera, poorer support. EDIT: After my initial review, customer support stepped up. Upon returning my cam through Amazon, they reached out to make things right. They sent me (expedited) a KJ09 body camera which is a VAST improvement over the KJ21. It's sturdier, has a charging dock with extra battery, and most of all, it WORKS! I've updated the stars on this review accordingly. The KJ21, at best, was two stars. The KJ09, standing alone, would be five stars. If you get bitten by a Boblov product, know that the company will do what they can to make it right. Therefore, based on support going above and beyond, I've upgraded this review.

Couple of things if you are wary of purchasing this camera. If you are looking for something that is going to be functional and useful, BUY IT if you want a camera which can switch from night vision to regular automatically, BUY IT if you want a camera that has several different mounting options, see what this unit offers before you commit. I use this camera for my job, at night, driving for 4ish hours. it works perfectly for this. Pros: Great night vision Great 720p, 1080p and 1296p video quality (30fps) Long lasting battery Menu system is easy to navigate and understand Once card is formatted on unit, you can use it on your PC to watch/copy/archive Can use up to a 128gb micro SD card (Sold Separately) Nice heft to the unit, doesn't feel cheaply made. Support is polite and generally helpful Cons: (some are only personal preferences) To charge, it uses mini USB, older interface, older cords, not available everywhere. Night vision coming on makes a distinct click sound, which seems to be mechanical switching of lenses Night vision cannot control rather the IR LED are lit or not (shortens battery length) Limited mounts, comes with an epaulet/belt clip and a shorter clip on clip No other mounts available for the unit that I have been able to find Company in China, so, Support is delayed unless you are awake at night. Like I said before, some are just personal preferences, BUT... I highly recommend this unit if it fits your needs.

Just got this the other day and started playing around with it. So far, I'm not impressed. The video quality is okay at best. I tried recording at night, and it was worthless (I may have to tweak the settings). The best quality setting is 1080; anything above that does a weird banding thing (lines rolling down the video). The built-in microphone is quite poor, and the camera is incompatible with my wireless mic, which is a huge disappointment; however, the wired mic is decent. I'll keep testing it for a few more days and mess with the settings, but I have a feeling I'll be returning it soon. All that said, it's a decent beginner's vlogging camera for the price. With tax season coming up, and if you're serious about getting a nice vlogging camera, you might want to wait for that tax return check to come in and get something a little nicer.

I wanted to wait until I had a chance to use this camera for a while before leaving a review. This camera has terrible audio at best. The audio is muffled and difficult to understand when playing back. The video, when it works, is high quality. The video quality is good in both day and night modes. There is still a serious flaw with the video recordings however. The camera is constantly switching between day/night mode with an annoying and relentless audible relay clicking. The buttons on the side of the camera are not easily accessible. You have to "feel around" to find the correct button to start and stop the recording feature. This camera would be far better if the stop/start record button was raised, and not flush with the other two buttons. Turning the camera on is also tricky. If the camera is in standby mode, you have to long click the record button to start recording. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does record. . You won't know if your recording has started, unless you remove the camera and look at it. When ending the recording, the camera vibrates to let you know you have stopped the recording. No such feature is available when the recording is started. The battery life seems to be adequate. I would not recommend this camera. I would recommend finding another brand that has a remote control for starting and stopping your recordings. I have had several body cameras of various manufacturers. While this one has some really nice features, they missed the mark on the most important features of the camera, both audio and video.

I am going to buy another 2 or 3. I love this mini camera. The videos came out better than expected.

Muy bien producto, no mucha calidadd la imagen pero muy necesario, lo usé para grabar unos delitos en el trabajo y acosó, dura la batería en realidad 10 horas! Funciona bien!!!!

Dopo parecchi mesi di utilizzo sia professionale che privato devo dire che è davvero concorrenziale con le costose e blasonate spacciate per il meglio per polizia, corpi speciali e così via... questa si spara in stand-by quasi 24 ore e in registrazione 12 ore senza problemi. E' leggera e facile da pinzare ovunque e non appesantisce l'abbigliamento tipo la polo o la camicia, sul GAP sparisce allo sguardo tanto che è compatta e discreta, Ho messo un adesivo nero sulla marca e uno sul forellino del microfono per ridurne i fruscii col vento e nonostante non è minimamente compromesa l'efficienza di registrazione audio. Ho le seguenti impostazioni: infrarosso sempre off perchè anche con poca luce la visione è eccellente; massima risoluzione video 1080P30, il buffer di 15 secondi lo imposto solo in pre evento e non post evento. Il loop è sempre inserito e lo spegnimento monitor è automatico dopo 30 secondi. Registrazione audio sempre On. Step video di 5 minuti. Toni tasti OFF, volume device Low, vibro prompt On. La accendo in stand-by ad inizio turno ed avvio la registrazione all'occorenza. In moto invece la tengo in registrazione costante. La funzione dash cam non la tengo attiva. La ricarica la eseguo con dispositivo spento, lo dico perchè appena la si mette in carica anche se spenta, si accende e impiega paracchio tempo in più a completarsi. Unica pecca sono i comandi che non hanno al tatto particolari segni distintivi quindi bisogna avere ben chiara la posizione dei tasti per attivarla e il cavo di ricarica è un obsoleto miniUsb fuori moda. Nel complesso è davvero positiva e utile.
