Very nice , easily removes makeup , a bit expensive but totally worth it

I finally finished the initial tub of cleanser I bought back in April which means enough time has passed to justify a review! To preface, I have horrendously sensitive combination skin. If it’s a product known for being agreeable with even the most disagreeable skin, chances are my skin rejects it anyway. I’ve tried nearly everything available over the counter over the course of two years. I even made sure to give my face a month long break at minimum between product swaps to allow it to heal before inevitably melting my skin barrier again. Skin 1001 centella asiatica, Cosrx, Ceravae, Dr. Idriss, etc; it all tore through my skin’s barrier and broke me out. No retiniods were involved in this process either. I even don’t double cleanse at night let alone use cleanser in the morning. My morning routine is rinsing my face with warm water and throwing sunscreen on if I’m going out that day. If I do more than that my skin immediately riots. Eventually I stumbled upon this cleanser. A YouTuber I watch occasionally tried it and said it not only felt really nice but it was the first cleanser that didn’t burn her eyes. I bought it immediately. True to that YouTuber’s word, this cleanser felt great. It didn’t feel heavy, and it really did not burn my eyes! There wasn’t a strong smell either, nor did my skin feel tight or dry after rinsing. It even emulsified easily! It felt way too good to be true. It seems this cleanser is The One for me. My skin loves it which in turn makes me love it. Plus the price is very reasonable. You get a lot of product for the amount you pay. If you are like me and are struggling to find a basic cleanser that can be both your nightly cleanse and a heavy hitter for makeup removal, please try this cleanser. I expected nothing from it yet I got everything I wanted. 10/10 If House Of Hur discontinues this product in the future I am screwed

If you're a veteran of double cleansing, you know the goal with an oil or balm cleanser is to feel "grits" coming out of your pores as you massage the oil based cleanser to loosen the stuff clogging your skin. I didn't feel that with this, however, some kind of witchcraft or intervention from the skincare gods is happening here, because after two or three weeks of regular use, I have ZERO clogged pores even in a 10x magnifying mirror.... I know there are tons of reviews talking about how gentle this is on angry skin, and my experience bears that out. Zero scent, which I love. It does take a little more rinsing, but honestly the black color lets you see where traces may be left on your skin. I do use a low on foaming cleanser after this, but if your skin is feeling extra dry you can skip it as long as you really rinse this well. I think the price is super reasonable and I LOVE the grinding container.

THIS IS THE BEST MAKE UP REMOVER STUFF I HAVE EVER USED! It takes off my makeup so easily is absolutely insane. I saw a YouTuber the other day use it and had to try it. Its so easy to use and it feel great. But I would Moisturize afterwards if you have drier skin, like me. It takes a bit longer for mascara to come off with it, but honestly? What make up remover can remove that quickly? So, definitely my new favorite way to remove makeup and absolutely worth the money!

Not the best I’ve used. Product is average and will get make up off my face but I find that I had to use more to get it fully cleaned. My biggest issue is the container it was in. You need to twist to get the product out. It would get some product out but I would then find more product pumped after I come back the next day. Because this product is sealed in the container, I’m not sure if I’ve used up all of the product or the twist lid is broken. I feel that this cleansing balm went by faster than a traditional spatula scooper cleaning balm. I’ll be looking for another brand.

Works great.. it feels like butter on your skin. It’s very soft, ease to use and your eyes do not burn. Removes ass makeup as intended. It has a metal smell to it but not over bearing. Would recommend and buy again for the money.
