Loves this detergent! Smells so good! And dissolves good.

I recently came across an eco-friendly laundry detergent pod that has completely transformed my laundry game, and I just had to share my experience! Now, let's talk about the best part - the oak tree scent. As soon as I opened the package, I was immediately greeted with a rich, masculine aroma that filled my laundry room, creating an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. This scent is absolutely divine and lingers on my clothes, making them smell incredible.

Out of the bag, it smells alright. Kinda "outdoorsy." I thought it was going to be a solid, masculine scent. However, after the clothes sit in a drawer for a day or two, it turns bad. Like genuinely gross. I don't even know how to describe it properly because it’s not one consistent smell. That dry, dusty "powder" smell is insanely strong and it clings. Other stuff smells musty, like laundry that didn't fully dry, but mixed with this chemical perfume smell. It's a nasty combo. I used warm water and a double rinse. So no, it wasn't "you didn’t rinse it enough." I had to rewash all my clothes with something else because it was that bad. Easily the worst detergent I've ever used.

After washing, my clothes are clean and smell great, exactly as described. The scent is strong enough to notice but not overbearing. I use the dryer sheets too. A lot of detergents bother my skin or leave a film on the clothes. This detergent does neither. My clothes are soft and there's no residue from the soap. The only negative is that the pods are a little thin and most of them broke in the bag. This didn't really bother me as I just measured a pod in a dedicated cup and then dumped all the powder in the container. I absolutely will buy this detergent again.

I use Grab Green's dishwasher power and laundry detergent as they are one of the few "natural" products that actually work pretty well. The Oak Tree scent is one our favorites. I especially like to use it during the winter months as it is a cozy and more "warm" scent instead of a floraly foo foo scent. I especially like it when I hug my husband and I can get a bit of the scent from his clothes. There are not a lot of scents like this out there on the market and I appreciate its' subtleness yet still detectable scent that isn't too cloying. It also does a good job of cleaning and getting rid of odor. Not the greatest but much better than many others, including a lot of the regular, non "natural" detergents. My only negative is that I really hate the "pod" trend. I just want the powder and a scoop!! I hate pods and unfortunately, this detergent doesn't come in anything other than pods so I just cut them open and empty them into the washing machine.
