Highly Recommended Especially to Breeders!
I absolutely love these. I use them for a lot of things. Not just for placing them in my pockets to keep my hands warm. This product is versatile! The major thing that I use them for is to keep my neonatal puppies warm when I need to transport them. Throw a small blanket over the hothands then the puppies and finally another blanket on top of the puppies. My husband uses them during hunting season and raves about how warm they keep his hands and that they last the full day for him. Once you are done using them, and if there is still heat left in them place them in a sandwich bag/quart bag sealing it while getting the air out you can extend the life of them and use them at a later date. I highly recommend this product especially if you are a breeder!

Great for Raynauds!
These hand warmers are perfect for people with Raynard’s which is a circulation problem in the fingers and toes. The Body & Hand Super Warmers are Long Lasting and they are a Safe and natural way to keep your digits warm. I just tried the extra large size and just love them. They work great when hiking if you put them in your mittens and boots. They also work great when you throw them in the bottom of your sleeping bag when sleeping outside. They are Natural and Odorless Air Activated Warmers. They are listed to work for Up to 18 Hours of Heat and that seems accurate. The packages are easy to open. Also good to keep some in your car in case of an emergency. I bought the large quantity pack and usually keep a few unopened ones with me on outdoor activities so I can share them with others.

14 hours of warmth
They work well and provide enough heat output to keep me warm during the cold time with no odor and no electricity needed like a heater so that's a plus because it reduces the risk of fire (it does get very cold here in Southern CA to the point where your cheeks, hands and feet will go numb even with gloves and a jacket). The heat doesn't last as long as 18 hours as stated on the packaging. I normally get about 10 hours of hot heat from each pack and after the 10th hour, it just stays warm for a couple more hours for a total of about 14 hours or so. None of them has lasted more than 14 hours; they never reached 18 hours. I have to throw them away after 14 hours of use. I have ran into some of them where they only lasted about 10 hours and the heat dissipates completely, leaving not even any warmness, even when I exposed them to air and gave it a good shake, the heat doesn't return but that's usually 2 to 3 packs out of the 40. Overall, great warmers and a life saver. I will continue to purchase more when I am low. I hope they don't go out of stock anytime soon. This is the third order for me already. I like to keep them stocked up when I have only a few left just incase. The weather here is weird and unpredictable. In San Diego, it could be nice and sunny and warm during the afternoon, but gets really freezing cold going into the evening and midnight to the early morning.

These SUPER WARMERS live up to their name, but one size does not fit all.
Amazon's star rating system designates 5 stars = I love it, 4 stars = I like it. The Super Warmers deserve five stars for delivering on their promise, but I find them excessively hot. If I had to use them in extreme conditions, I might feel differently. The price paid for the quantity offered is a bargain, but the less potent regular hand warmers might be a better value for some people. Bigger and hotter is not going to be as useful in many circumstances. These warmers are, indeed, SUPER, warmers. They are roughly twice the size of the typical individual “hand size”, but they pack more than twice the punch. Everyone’s field conditions are going to be different so there isn’t going to be a one-size-fits-all review anywhere here. The best I can do is contrast these with the smaller hand warmers and how I typically use those. I typically use the smaller hand warmers at the foot of a sleeping bag. On 30 to 50 degree nights in a tent, one small hand warmer (not these Super Warmers) usually does the job of keeping my feet warm. I would not dream of substituting the larger, super warmer in that application. The labeling even says to not use them when you sleep. There is also a warning about not using them if you are arthritic unless you consult a doctor (see attached photo for more warnings). I haven’t tried it, but the amount of heat the super warmer produces would suggest that it could serve as a “space heater” in a single or two man backpacking tent configured with a fly, especially if you had a small battery powered fan to circulate the air. I know this sounds ridiculous—backpacking, space heater, fan—all oxymoronic terms. I’m only trying to give you a sense of the energy that is packed into one of these Super Warmers. Just as the temperature rating of sleeping bags seldom seem to be accurate (conditions vary—the bag’s isolation from the ground, ground temp., tent use, wind, clothing worn, body fat, etc.) the amount of use you get from the Super Warmer is going to depend on many variables. I’ve never been ice-fishing, but if there is any circumstance where they might be especially appreciated, that would seem to be one. Or a hunter waiting in a blind for hours, unable to move around. Also note that the images Amazon has supplied with the product description show BOTH the Super Warmer and the smaller hand warmers that come two to a packet. The graphics might help you see their relative size in the palm of a hand. Final recommendations: Try to get a couple of these locally before you commit to a larger order. Anyone who is driving in severe winter weather conditions should have a supply of these in their safety kit.

BEST PRODUCT EVER CREATED
Idk how I discovered this but I’m forever cold. My family would blast the AC & I’d be miserable. They’d tell me to throw on more clothes & use the thickkkk blankets that I can’t even describe. Shout out to the makers of hot hands bc I’m always cold. Cold hands & feet. I’ll even buy it in the summer bc whenever I go out..maybe a restaurant. I’ll be freezing & the jacket just won’t suffice. Hot hands the name brand…(tried dupes..don’t like) is a necessity. Easy to use & last a while thank you KOBAYASHI! Oh yea..my doggy likes it in the winter when he gets cold. I’ll put it on his head for a split second.

Good purchase
These are handy in any weather. Husband works in air conditioning that is kept very cold. Helps keep his hands warm. We buy the 18 hour ones so they last the whole day. Good in the winter in the office or the car.

Good Size
Have now used a whole box. See the price has risen by about £10. Only last about 12 hours. Small version lasts the same. Says "open here" on side of individual packs but (unlike on the small ones) there is no nick to easily tear open and scissors are needed to (carefully) open the packs.

Excelente producto
