Great Affordable Streaming Device
I purchased the ONN Android TV 4K streaming device and have been very happy with it. Setup was straightforward, and it works well for streaming my usual apps in 4K. The interface is easy to navigate, and the voice remote with Google Assistant is convenient when searching for something without having to type. For the price, it offers a lot of the same functionality as more expensive streaming devices. Overall, it has been reliable, responsive, and a great value for adding smart TV features and streaming apps to a TV.

Onn box
I picked up a couple of these Onn 4K Google TV streaming devices recently because my old Fire Stick was starting to lag and I wanted something cheap that actually runs everything smoothly. Overall I’m really happy with them. Setup was super easy — plugged it in, followed the on-screen prompts, and I was streaming Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Hulu, Max, and all the rest within minutes. The Google TV interface is clean and responsive, way better than some of the cheaper no-name boxes I’ve tried. Voice remote works well (better than I expected at this price point), and the picture quality on my 4K TV is sharp with good Dolby Audio support. The only weird thing was the packaging on one of them — the printed picture on the front of the box looked pretty scratched up like it got roughed up in shipping. The actual device inside was fine though. The second one looked perfect. No big deal since the streamer itself performs great, but just something to note if you’re picky about box condition. For under $20-25, this is honestly a steal. If you’re looking for a reliable 4K streamer without paying Roku or Apple TV prices, I’d definitely recommend it. I’ve got both running in different rooms now and they’re doing the job perfectly. Would buy again! 👍

Better than anything else I’ve tried
Of the 3 streaming devices I’ve used…the Onn was the better (Roku & F Stick).

It works as expected but not a perfect streaming system.
This has been a great buy thus far. It is replacing my (new) 4K Firestick which wasn't compatible with CUE Tv streaming. It was easy to setup and has worked fine. The only con is the remote won't work to control my older Sceptre HDTV. (I have to use the Firestick remote for that) Doesn't seem to be a way to enter the code manually; so a minor complaint. Update: after about 10 months of using this streaming box here is an update on its performance. Overall it works as expected, however the channels are constantly buffering. At first I thought it was my network but I don't think that's the case. The major issue seems to be the channels and/or the Google programming causing channels to either freeze or buffer. For example, I record via a video capture card from the streaming device (live recording). So if you wanted to say watch a particular channel (doesn't matter which or from where) you are guaranteed to get a time out or the box will go into hibernate mode. Google Live TV seems to be the worst channel for this. It's impossible to maintain the same channel for hours without getting the very annoying "are you still watching" pop-up. If you don't click it off it will hibernate. It's very frustrating. And there is no way to turn this off in Settings. I don't know if these limitations are baked into the programming of the streaming box, or if they are programmed into the channels themselves? I don't get this however from one of my streaming services, Frndly TV. But you still get buffering issues. Now here is the curious thing, I can watch these same streaming channels locally via webbrowser and, with few exceptions, I don't get any of these freezes or hibernation issues. The most common error I get is a "channel not available" error which means you have to refresh the browswer to clear. So, while using the browser is the far better choice for streaming and recording, it's still not a perfect solution. But, that defeats the purpose of using your TV as the source. I have a mini PC setup so that I can switch over to the mini and watch streaming on my TV to try and minimize the buffering issues. However, watching via the browser seems to be the exact opposite of what you want. You want the streaming to come from your TV not from a browser. The biggest problem with that is you are using your TV as a second computer monitor and the resoltuions don't match. But it's doable. Now if I'm watching a major channel service (like YouTube TV), I don't get many of these buffering issues. Very seldom does the streaming freeze, time out, or buffer. Which leads me to believe that it's the channels themselves that are the problem, not the streaming device. Google--YOU are the worst offender!

Easy to configure
I switched to this after the firestick started losing some of its appeal and stopped being able to run most third party apps. Yeah I admit they weren’t exactly ethical being they supplied free content but hey, who doesn’t get what they can these days. But this device when setup correctly with the correct apps and workarounds still pushes anything I throw at it. It also has no problem connecting my ps4 controller and using my shadow pc app to play pc games. Perfect piece of smart equipment

I like it
What just as the firestick, but slow to boot up, remote functional, easy to use, sound quality is good, notice I have to sometime unplug and plug to get it to operate. Price is real good.

A nice surprise for a cheap price
This one is a bit of a surprise to me. I didn't expect much out of this little TV box. It has no USB ports and no Ethernet port. It is wifi only, which worried me since many Android TV boxes have lousy wifi chipsets in them. This one has a very good chipset. It does 5Ghz wifi just fine, allowing me to get around 500Mb/second internet speed. I do wish it had a USB port so I could use my standard external keyboard, but it does fine on bluetooth keyboards and headsets. The google TV interface is clunky, but that is not the fault of this ONN TV box. This is a nice, very functional Android Google certified TV box, that I would have given 5 stars if it had a USB port.
