3G Aluminum Battery Tray for EZGO TXT/Medalist Golf Carts 1994+

I purchased this tray to replace the old rotted out one in my 2003 EZGO cart.My old one was so bad that when I removed one of the batteries from the middle row, the other one fell out on the ground. The workmanship on this item is great, the materials are high quality and the fit was perfect! Shipping time was great, arrived several days earlier than expected. As someone else stated, there are no instructions, but it easy enough to figure out how it goes. It takes much longer to get the old one out, due to rusty bolts than it does to install the new one.If your old bolts are not reusable, you may have to get replacements at the hardware store. Also, as someone else stated, get a battery strap (bought mine off of Amazon) before you start, these batteries are VERY heavy, so it is a tremendous help. If your battery tray needs replacing, BUY THIS TRAY, you will be very happy with your purchase!!

Perfect fit

The item I received was anodized black and the welds looked better than the one shown in the picture. It wasn't packaged well and the battery hold down mounts we're bent during shipment, a couple taps with the hammer fixed the damage. The parts bag fell apart during shipment, but somehow everything stayed in the box until I got it in the house. The job was more involved than I had hoped, but still only took about 6 hours with semi-adequate tools and no experience working on golf carts. If I needed to replace another, I would buy this one again.

The item arrived quickly and was well made. It fit snugly in the golf car area. It took a little time to install; a bolt was missing (but that was not a problem for me since I am always prepared with all sorts of basics). It would have been nice to have a set of instructions. Overall, very pleased as the battery tray should last for years.

Fits perfect allow the needed time as removing the rusted bolts taes time. I rolled it on its sside which provided easier access and just torched off the old. From there it was a bolt on job. You don't need torches it just made it easier.Now is the time to replace the cables. Use your phone to take pictures of the exiting orentation and wiring pattern.Worth the time and minimal cost.

When I got home from work at 5:30 yesterday afternoon, I noticed the battery tray had arrived. I began disassembling the batteries and removing the old rusted out tray. I had to grind off 2 bolt heads that attached the old tray to the frame. Long story short, from start to finish, including clean up it took me about 4 hours. The hole pattern was perfect and the frame seems well built. I recommend it, but it’s more of a project than you’d think. Also, the Trojan T105 batteries weigh 62 pounds each, get the battery strap to remove them.

Glad I went with an aluminum replacement. OEM bracket completely corroded . Almost had batteries fall through. This one is especially easier to install because it is not one complete welded assembly like the OEM. You bolt this one in. Everything aligned perfectly. I had to use some of the OEM mounting bolts.

It worked like it should but I didn't receive the aluminum tray, mine was black in color.
