The Simba halogen tubes are a perfect fit for typical halogen spot light that the tube presses in on one side and then the other to replace. It is said to wear rubber gloves when handling the tubes, as the oil on your fingers may impact the glass when the tubes heat up. It did so for me, but it was 24 degrees outside and the bulb instantly burned out when it heated up. (I wore one glove on my right had but instinctively used both hands). I then wore both rubber gloves and replace two more bulbs with no issues.

So far the Simba lighting we ordered was spot on. The product arrived in a timely manner, was packaged well, and was a great value for the money we paid. The bulbs installed quickly and replaced the old bulb exactly as it was intended. Hoping the bulbs will last as promised.

My bathroom sconces use this type of bulb, but others labeled 118mm have been too short. These are a perfect fit! The old Halogen bulb lasted 15 years, quite a feat.

Nice to have extra bulbs

Correct size and working like a champ. The price was right and arrived in a timely manner. Packaging was adequate. Suggestion: Try not to touch bulbs or if you do, remove oils from skin. These create high temperatures. The oil will cause the glass to distort and shorten bulb life.

I looked around for these halogen bulbs and read many reviews. This set of five had the best reviews and offered the most number of bulbs for the price. Saw that the business selling these bulbs was family-run and Amazon was doing the shipmemt. I figured everything sounds right to get these bulbs. When they arrived, I was excited because I thought I had gotten a good deal in getting five halogen bulbs for around $10. When I opened the package each bulb was wrapped in bubble wrap in each individual tiny box. So everything looks safe and neat. I decided not to assume the bulbs were fine even though they all looked fine. So I tested each bulb on the lamp to see if they all work. One bulb did not work at all even though nothing looked broken. There was no sound when I shook it. Oh well, that one went right back into the box. Tried bulb #2 and it was slightly too short and could not securely connect to the electrodes. So that means it did not work. Bulb #3, it actually turned on, but was dim and just would not brighten up. Bulbs #4 and last one worked, but they were not very bright. So of the five, two worked, one was dim and two did not work. This means I paid $10 for two instead of five. Ultimately this was more expensive than buying a brand name bulb from Philip, where I bought on Amazon for around $8 for a pack of two, and those worked and were bright. Therefore, I ended up returning these bulbs. Maybe you will get better bulbs with your order, but I recommend you test all of the bulbs upon arrival and not assume they are all in working condition. I feel bad for the business as they are selling a product that probably did not have quality control.

Very bright, it doesn't produce as much heat as other light bulbs

i give the shipping a 5 star but they do like to blow about week after you put them in. they dont last long but good for the money.

Picked up these for a couple of vintage Artemide sconces and am totally pleased with the result. Nice and warm light and ample bright. Dimmable and functional. I have no quality control concerns or complaints. Good value.

The package with 5 bulbs were not of consistent length and only two of the 5 bulbs would make a proper connection to my light fixture. Have requested the company send me a new package of five bulbs at no charge.
