We live in an area where cell service can be spotty. We get none at my house. This product provides good cell service. It's not the first one I've had. They haven't changed much. Set up was easy. You have to have wifi for it to work. But my job requires me to be on call, so phone service was necessary. There were 3 or 4 for sale as I recall. I bought the only one this particular seller had, and got a better price. That might have been partially due to the lack of any instructions. Lucky for me, as I said, I'd had one so set up was no problem. This is a great product. It delivers what it is designed to, at a fairly reasonable price and isn't hard to install.

You need to talk to Verizon to get it hooked up. They are absolutely no help. They have no idea how to get it to work and on the phone for at least eight hours with them and it still doesn’t work.

Made my iPhone reliable at home,service was almost non existent.

Verizon tried to get it to work and told it was bad.

This is a great product if your signal is low.

I live in a semi-rural area, right smack dab in the middle of 3 towers, but NEVER get more than 1 bar of signal from any of them. With this device, I get 4-5 bars all over my home (2500 sqft), and even get signal (2-3 bars) up to 150ish feet down my driveway through 1 wall. Some things to note: - Buy this directly from Verizon. Its $250 there as of this writing and you have to activate it with them anyway. - The unit WILL NOT work until you call Verizon and give them the MAC ID of the unit. I don't think you could get them to activate it for you without a post-paid Verizon account. When I called to get mine working, they did make sure I had an account. You will need to talk to tech support when you call and give them the MAC ID. As another reviewer has mentioned, this step is NOT listed in any of the documentation. - At least as of this writing, this unit WILL allow Verizon MVNOs to use it. I've had a US Mobile customer (on their Verizon network) use it at my home with no problems. You can dial #48 and you will get a confirmation message that you are connected to a network extender. - As others have also stated, there does not appear to be a way to keep people OFF of this unit. If you live near other Verizon or Verizon MVNO customers, they will be able to connect to your network extender and use it. There is an admin interface on this device, but there are no options available to blacklist or whitelist specific phones. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this unit. This took us from an unusable service to full signal strength.
