Great Product and Installation ease
Thanks for the Awning. It came in packed in a box and was in perfect condition. It took a minute to figure out the way to assemble but once I figured it out is was together in no time. I had to cut one center brace because it was about 1 inch too long but was not problem. I installed the awning and finished in about 10 minutes. It does its job and is very appealing look.Considering buying more from this vender for a custom job.

Light weight
You get what you pay for. This is a very thin awning that has a million screws to put all the pieces together. My husband took a few welding courses and is building his own. We gave this to a friend. The sturdier awnings were very expensive. For someone who just needs some shade and to keep the rain off the door this will work, but it is thin.

This is a good awning for the money
This is a good awning for the money. It is a good choice where you have a storm door that swings out because of the short height dimension. It is easier to assemble than some others I have put up. The instructions, like on a lot of stuff like this, are not super detailed, but it is not too hard to assemble. Difficulty is somewhere between making a sandwich, and putting together a 22 speed bike, easily put up in an hour.

Awning Aluminum kit
The pre drilled holes are not present for all the pieces. If you don't have the right tools, it is impossible. It is flimsy, pretty sure it will blow off during the first high winds of the fall. The screws in the kit to attach to your home are a joke.

Worked great! Want to buy another one.
Worked out great for me!. I live in an area that gets heavy snow and I wanted to shield the back porch a little so the dogs could get in and out through the doggie door. It's been up through one New England winter and is still holding. Being "snow experienced" I used a roof rake to gently remove excess snow from the awning, but I expected to do that anyway. I like that it came with the long screws and the bit for the drill. I wanted to buy another one for my kitchen door but see they aren't available anymore on Amazon. Guess I'll have to wear myself out going to the big box store and walk around for miles on the hard concrete floor looking for the right aisle, if they have it at all.Installation--I am a healthy woman over the age of 50 with some DIY experience. I put this up by myself using two ladders for support, because I did not have a choice. I recommend a helper. It's not heavy, just awkward if you do it alone.

A finer tooth saw blade would do a better job
Edges were cut very rough and not finished. Be sure and wear gloves during assembly as the edges are very sharp from the unfinished edges. A finer tooth saw blade would do a better job, but it probably takes too long for them. Once it's up and assembled the rough edge shouldn't be a problem.
