Awesome Quality, Detail & Coloring!
So much better looking, than the stock photo provided.Ours measures about 8 inches long, and about 2.5 inches tall-Awesome Detail, and Coloring-Awesome Quality, made out of high quality materials.We own a few Schleich Brand Dinos, and I prefer these because they fit better, size wise with the rest of my sons collection. However the Schleich dinos are made of stiffer harder materials, and the amount of fine details (ex. skin winkles) is greater for the Schleich.My Sons loves Dinos with long necks and tails and CollectA has a great assortment in that category.We will definitely be buying more from this company in the future.

My review of Collecta's "Ampelosaurus"
To reiterate all of my earlier reviews of dinosaur models I bought (on Amazon, or anywhere else), I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Vertebrate Paleontology (Class of 2014), currently teaching at a nonprofit-run day hab program, where I use my scientific expertise - and my HUGE collection of 1/40th scale models of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals (HOW huge? As of yesterday (Saturday, 12/5/2020), 253 AND COUNTING!!!!!), which I've been accumulating and studying since I was only 7 years old - to educate developmentally and/or emotionally and/or physically challenged individuals about the evolutionary progression of life on Earth, and it definabsotively goes without saying that the more models I acquire, the more insatiably ravenous my students' appetite for prehistory. KEEP 'EM COMING!!!!!

The detail is beautiful. For a child
The detail is beautiful. For a child, I can still see this as being safe since the "pointy" areas are softer and more malleable. The head and tail are flexible, which I could see posing less of a problem with breaking.The only thing I am slightly disappointed about is the size. It is fairly small, but the detail does make up for it.

Small but detailed
This is a wonderful little model. It is little, barely larger than some of the ceratopsians I have from CollectA. The details is great and overall it's a great addition to my dinosaur collection.

Small model, but interesting species
Why doesn't anybody make 1:40 Cretaceous era sauropods? I would be first in line to buy them! This model is small, much smaller than 1:40. I got it just to have any sauropod on my Cretaceous shelf, even if it has to be a small young juvenile.
