Awesome! Best training aid. I put the Mclean template underneath the machine and set up the ball posts, I also have added alignment glasses.and I've even placed the pelz truth board for eye alignment feed back. I used to be called 4-putt! Not anymore. I wish I would have had this growing up I could have made the tour. Its easy to set up. I have found my path and can see the line better. Great for set up, path, alignment and speed training

Bought this for $119. Posting said nothing about the item being used. Item had scratches and obvious signs of wear. Somewhat disappointing. Sill using the putting trainer so can't really comment on its effectiveness. Up to this point it is a bit cumbersome. Not quite sure if I'd buy again.

I've had this and set it up right away. It is interesting and not a scam or ripoff in any way. The designers have integrity and put a lot of thought into this. But, alas, it just doesn't work, isn't worth the effort at all! If I had to put my finger on its fatal flaw, it would be that you have to stick adhesive on your favorite putter and adhere magnets to both sides of it, so it sticks to the magnets on the track. Now, I only have 1 favorite putter, so that is a huge hassle in itself to have to stick the stuff on and remove it when I want to actually play gold. My other gripe about this design flaw is that being that locked into a machine doesn't really simulate a putting stroke. Sure, you can groove back and forth, but I could also draw an arc or straight line on the floor depending on my stroke preference and guide the putter back and forth over that 30x a day. {Hey, not a bad idea, maybe I'll try that...} But I digress.I give it 2 stars because it's well made and designed, but only 2 stars because it was not effective and that probably stems from the fact that it was not well conceived. The fact that PGA tour pros have this is not surprising. Vijay Singh has probably two garages full of putting aids, but he still can't putt!

Have used the device for 4 days and have found it to be what I was hoping it would be. Have a flaw in my stroke that I haven't been able to change so decided that this winter I would use this device to reprogram my muscle memory. As I have only had it for a short amount of time I can't comment on its effectiveness yet but I do know that my stroke on the device has a different feel and I know that the stroke on the device is a sound one so I just need to practice that stoke enough times to ingrain it into my muscle memory. I can't agree with the only other review I saw on this site about the device. I found the device to be well constructed and thought out- there is even a place on the device to put all of the extra pieces I'm not currently using so that they are close at hand if and when I do need them. Haven't had any problems with the rods coming apart and I have no concerns about my putter being in any way damaged. I found it fairly easy and quick to assemble (has a manual with photos or a dvd showing how to assemble it). Have always tried to have a straight back and straight through stroke but after trying the device with a slight arcing stroke I feel this will work better for me, device can be set up for either type of stroke, has 5 different degrees of arcing stroke). If it was an option I would have given the device a 4.5 rating only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that I had some difficulties with the instructional DVD (the content of the DVD is very good) but it didn't work the way I felt it should. Using Windows Media Player I would click on the Main Menu options but nothing would happen and I didn't see any instructions pertaining to the DVD. I could open the individual titles that were off to the side and see the lessons, drills, putting theory etc. but this is a small thing and may not be a problem for others.

It may take a bit of a time investment to just get everything situated ( though not bad in this regard either) - it i worth every second. There is no denying the concept of the machine and it is made of quality parts and materials. It is also simple to get some usage time on and it can be quite mobile. If you want to improve your putting- start here!

I find the machine to be an excellent practice tool. It has made my stroke more on plane,naturally. Wish I would have had it for 10 years.John E.

I really like the machine. Assembly problem: One of the holes where the black knob screws in to hold the end plate was clogged with paint and I had to run down to the hardware and buy a 1/4-20 tap to clean it out. That was a bummer. Once I got it together it took about an hour of fussing with all the adjustments to get the putting swing that I have. I have a Master degree in mechanical engineering. Good luck on this for those less skilled. After adjustments the putting swing with the machine is very smooth and inspires confidence. Now when I am over a putt on the course I just think about using the putting stroke from the machine and I hole many of them. This is a big step forward for my game and I feel I will be getting better at this.

Excellent for muscle memory during winter months and helps to keep you sharp during the season.
