Should there be continuity when checking the wire connectors on the one side of the balun to the sma plug? i have no continuity thru the balun.

No continuity. This device is RF sensitive so won’t show anything. Be sure the ground wire is on the right side with the sma pointing forward.mine works fine on random wire 75ft long.

Of the two screw terminals for an antenna one is ground? Whis is which? There not labeled.
