Don't last
My 2017 Cougar came with a JR Products GSNI-5300-10 on the entry door, it failed to work so, I replaced it in July 2018 with a new one, this one stopped working March 15th 2019. I called JR Products and the person I talked to said that it was less than two years old, so it is still under warranty. Their website says they offer a life time warranty. I would have to pay to ship the failed product to JR Products in New York, and then at their discretion would either repair or replace it. I don’t think it is worth my time to send the product back in hopes they will send a replacement, just to have it fail in a year or so, as well. I will either go with a different manufacture or use magnets to hold the door open.

Broke on our first trip
Ordered as a replacement for the gas spring on our RV. It lasted 4 days before it broke (lost pressure). Since we hadn't taken a trip in the RV prior to the Amazon warranty period being over we were past our return time. I contacted the seller to see if we could get a replacement (not a refund). I have not heard back in over two weeks. Would not recommend.

Don't Last.
Why do I have to replace this shock on the camper door every 2 months ? This is my fourth. I go on 2 month trips and sure enough, it fails during the trip.

Quality product
Exact replacement for RV entry door. Door slowly opens and stays there.

gas spring
Supposed to hold ten lbs but measures five on a scale. Old ones were much stronger. Takes both of these to hold the lid up and almost closed by itself.

No support.
I am buying these things every year. The are a door stopper on my travel trailer. I don't seem to get close to a year out of them. They have a 1 year warranty which means nothing , when JR Product won't respond to an email or even answer there phones.
