Comfortable, well made
I work in a print shop in a large warehouse and am on my feet many hours each day on a concrete floor. These shoes are comfortable to wear for 14+ hours per day. They have good support and breath pretty well. They feel very durable and well made. Especially important to me is that they are available in wide sizes. I wear a size 9 wide, and these fit me well. They also have good traction even on wet surfaces. This is the second pair of Merrell shoes I’ve owned, and I have found their products to be reliable and high quality. The only down side to these shoes is that they are a bit heavy, but that’s pretty minor, and you get used to it fairly quickly.

Great 3/4 ankle boots for people with certain foot issues.
I have drop foot in my right leg, happened when I was a 25 yr old when my pelvis was broken and I wear an AFO inside the shoe to give my toes elevation and do not trip. You can't imagine the difficulty in finding shoes I can wear comfortably with such a condition. The shoes are either too narrow at the toe box and painfully squeeze my toes or two narrow in the center of the foot and the brace will not fit inside. Many times, when I cannot find a wide style shoe, I have to buy a half size or full size larger just to fit the brace and end up tripping often from the extra length. The last pair of boots I bought were Salomon XAforce which were $200 a few years back. Since they are 3 yrs old and a light coyote brown color they have become dingy. They are great boots, probably the best but I didn't have $220 to spend. I decided to give Merrell a try because my 77 yr old uncle, who is also well aware of a good boot from his days in Vietnam, had a pair on one day. After reading several positive reviews, I purchased. The Salomon XAs took at least 3 months to break in, they were so uncomfortable in the beginning but these Merrill boots were comfortable right out of the box it actually surprised me because that almost NEVER happens. My foot is very tender in spots and some days it can be painful just to put ON a shoe. My brace fit in with no modifying whatsoever and the toe box doesn't scrunch my toes and make it painful like some other boots can. Laced up nice and tight they feel great on my feet and I can wear them all day with bo problems, which I cannot do with just any ol shoe. The bottom sole grips snow and ice and I feel fairly confident I will not slip on my butt on the icy Colorado ground. I've only had them about 4 months but so far everything has held up and I've had no problems. They've become even more comfortable than my Salomons and I wear them just as much if not more. Only time will tell if they last as long. I'm glad I got these either way when comparing price and now I'm Merrell guy just as much as Salomon, thanks uncle! 👍🏻

Very Good!
For me the Moab 2 fit it is better than Moab 3. The toe box seems to be a little wider than the 3. My left foot is wider than my right so it worked out to my advantage. Its a comfortable boot for what it is. Snugging/pulling up on the laces is a nice smooth easy to do operation. Made in Vietnam and the quality looks very good.

Fits perfect
Very comfortable, sturdy tread. I loved the shoes.Of note, about 5 weeks after I bought them the glue on one of the shoes started to fail. I contacted the company and they stood behind the product perfectly. I sent pictures of the failure and they asked that I destroy the old shoes by cutting the tongues out and sending pic. I did so and they agreed to replace the shoes. It's taken 3-4 weeks to get new shoes, but I got them today. This company really stands behind their shoes, and that's what really counts.I am giving four stars versus 5 because I was without hiking shoes for a pretty lone time. But I am a happycustomer.Update:I got a lot of miles out of these shoes, but finally wore them out. Had them about 15 months walking about 5 miles a day. Liked them so much I've purchased a second pair to replace the first. Good hiking shoe with excellent customer service. What more could you ask for?Update II:I just received my 4th pair of these shoes. The first pair had a glue failure within a few days. I contacted Merrell and they replaced the shoes without question. The second pair lasted a little over a year. This pair was replaced due to sole wear/cracking. The 3rd pair lasted just over a year. This pair also failed due to a glue failure in nearly the same place... outside heel area and it was a glue failure. Functionally I like the shoes a lot and so I purchased another pair which I received today. However, I'm not getting very long life from these shoes. I love them for comfort, utility, and fit, but durability could be better. If I was a serious young person hiker I don't think these would last much over 6 months.I have to double knot the laces else they constantly come untied (this drives me crazy!). I tried tightening them very tight but this didn't help, it just wears out the laces much faster. The laces seem to be good quality, but they will not stay tied without double knots. The interior of the shoes are very durable showing little wear. These shoes would be much better if the company could figure out the glue issues. I'm a 65+ year old man that's pretty easy on the shoes. What I do shouldn't be considered that strenuous.
