Citizen - 0151-09L - Excellent lume
Purchased this product almost a month ago. At first the packing. It was a huge box wrapped by some protective layer. Inside that box was lying a scuba tank which is worth seeing. Inside that tank, was the watch. Next the watch. You will be amazed to see the beauty of it. The polished stainless steel case, the glossy crown with the Promaster emblem in it, the highly glossy outline of the index markers will mesmerize you. The hands are beautiful with the hour hand outlined by glossy stainless steel, minute hand with vibrant orange outline, and the second hand is a thin white hand with a lume at the tip. The hour & minute hands are wide enough to see the time at any lighting condition. The dial is the deep navy blue colour (my favourite colour) on which the index marks & the hands really pop out. The bezel is also of deep navy blue colour. The strap is also navy blue colour which you may change if you donot like rubber strap. Now come to the time keeping capability of the watch. Its running 2 seconds late after 24 days. That means -3 seconds per month which is highly satisfied as you have to adjust time once in a year. Next the charging. The charging is quite fast. I opened the packing at night & after some exposure to the table lamp, it started running & I was amazed to see it running when I woke up in the morning though in a 2 seconds interval. After exposing it beside the window after about 2 hours, it began to tick in 1 second interval. Now the most striking feature of this watch - lume. Its awesome. You cannot understand this feature at the daytime, but at night, even in the middle of night, after 5 hours of last exposure to light, you can clearly see the glowing hands & markers with the naked eye (generally i use specs for reading & writing but to see timing in this watch, I donot use specs, it is so prominent). I was searching such feature in a watch for a long time & it is completely fulfilled by this watch. I really love it. Now the cons. The date window is really small though you can somehow manage to see it. the day is missing. The dial is quite large for small to medium wrists. The strap is of rubber. Final verdict : Every watch in this world has some pros & cons. It has also some. But despite it's cons, you should go for this watch without any hesitation as the appearance of the watch with deep navy blue dial & luminous hands & markers is great, the visibility of the hands is extraordinary, the lume is amazing with about -3 seconds variation per month. Its a must have watch. Addition after 7 months : it is running 8 secs late i.e., almost 1 sec per month. excellent.

Superb Dive Watch
I have not used it for diving yet but I have no doubt it will prove well worth every rupee spent on it. Looks great. Keeps time perfectly. Solar powered - which is a divers dream. No need to open to change batteries! Can’t wait to take it under water. Will write more post that. So far a superb buy!!

Probably the best diver out there for the price
The watch is really great. It came in original packaging, including the scuba tank box and papers. Everything works as expected. Ecodrive started within a few seconds after opening the box and going very precisely for the last two weeks. Shipping took a few days longer than expected due to customs. Reason for deduction is: The watch seems new, although there were no protective stickers on it. The Citizen paper box was crushed due to no padding around it.

The accuracy of the watch is quiet good, which is expected for a quartz movement
Suberb watch, the quality really stands out in the Price Range. The accuracy of the watch is quiet good, which is expected for a quartz movement. been using it for almost a couple of months now and still shows the exact time compared to my mobile. You would have to go for a really expensive Automatic to get the same accuracy. The only gripe I have is that the glass is Mineral Crystal and Not Sapphire Crystal, hence more easily prone to scratches.

I bought this to replace my lost Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster 300M Diver's Watch BN0000-04H. This watch is only 200m rated and, the fact is, I’ve never been any deeper than 3m in water with any of the watches I own; So yeah only a minor difference from my old one. This new model does however have features I do like better such as a bigger and easier to read dial and date, a larger & offset crown (making it comfortable on the wrist), and a better looking rubber strap. However, the old 300m one had details that I wished this one had - the older model had a mono block body (no screw-off case back), a beautifully embossed (almost carved) world logo on the back casing, a fully knurled rotating bezel and a gorgeous waffled textured black face for the dial. The back of this watch has only been laser etched with the eco drive logo. This watch really reminds me of my old Seiko divers from the 1980’s more so than my old Citizen 300m…and that’s altogether not a bad thing. Details aside, it’s a great watch and I think it would’ve been greater had Citizen added a day & date on that front dial instead of just a date. If this model holds up to the standards of ruggedness and reliability of the old one I had lost, then I can rest assured I’ll have a great time piece for many years to come…provided of course I don’t lose this one.

El reloj era lo q esperaba. El tamaño ideal y las calidades son buenas. No le doy cinco estrellas por q la correa m parece algo blanda y estrecha en la parte final

Picked up the blue version after stalking it for some time. Unfortunately the initial ordering experience was disappointing - the watch arrived in a bog standard Citizen cardboard box, not the scuba oxygen tank as pictured in the item description. That is not a make or break ( you don't wear the box... ) but it was disappointing. A nice surprise was the band did not have the decompression table as pictured -- something I didn't like. The bigger issue was that the second hand hit none of the markers on the top half of the watch. I asked for a replacement hoping I'd get one with a better second alignment. Amazon shipped the replacement at Prime speed so I had in 48 hours. Alas, the replacement came in the same generic box, but the second hand aligned to my expectation. I noticed the UPC on the box said the part number followed by "Amazon" so perhaps this box is now standard. As the watch itself, it wears smaller than its 43mm spec width, primarily since the bezel is inset a bit from the edge. Unlike other commenters I like the band -- it is tacky enough to allow me to wear it loose and not have it flop around on my wrist. The lume is pretty impressive, but don't expect all night performance. The bezel pip is illuminated with a slightly greener blue colour than the markers. 60 click bezel is smooth and has very little backplay, The screw down crown is smooth and easy to engage even with the crown guards. The crown pull out stops are close together but easy to navigate - you only will be setting the date ( stop 1 ) on non 31 day months and maybe correcting the time at the same point. Not a lot of things to set. I like the fact the eco-drive will mean that the watch won't need to be opened for 10 years or so. The dial colour is a bit bland ( especially compared to a blue Orient Ray II I own, not a fair comparison, I know ) but I suspect that has to do with the eco-drive surface - you certainly wouldn't know this was an eco-drive if the label didn't tell you so. Perhaps you should check out the black version if you're on the fence about the blue. In summary after a couple of initial disappointments this is spiffy watch that I like more and more as I wear it.

I can't say enough about this piece. I'm super into watches and own many vastly ranging in monetary value. I enjoy automatic watches and sometimes as a watch collector or even very low key watch snob, feel as though I should have gone that route instead of this quartz. However after a bit of research, this watch is right up there in capability with more expensive divers. If not more so. As much as I love to tinker with watches, I value accuracy a bit more. I haven't touched this watch's setting since I got it early July (it's Aug3) , and it's only -2 seconds off. I've read in forums where other's have had perfect accuracy after a month or two, but I can't vouch for that. Still, 2 seconds isn't too shabby. What's more, is the second hand hits EVERY SINGLE marker perfectly. I love that. Nothing worse than a quartz watch not hitting the indices. Another bummer about quartz, especially with dive watches, is having to replace the battery. That means you're opening up the back of your watch, essentially changing the water resistance rating from factory specs. Probably nothing that will affect what most people use the watch for, but still. It's great knowing this watch with the Eco Drive will probably out last me battery wise, and the case will never need to be opened. As long as you keep Eco Drives charged, they really should never need servicing (unlike automatics). The band was definitely a bit stiff when I got it which is no big surprise, but after a couple weeks of constant wear, it fits my wrist like a glove and feels plenty broken in. I also love how the case and bezel are both brushed steel as opposed to some divers that are polished and shiny. The case and bezel just have a real sleek cohesive look and feels a little less flashy, yet the trim around the minute markers gives it that subtle bit of flash when lights hit it a certain way. Very classy imo. Speaking of lights....the lume on this thing is absolutely insane. I love Citizen for their lume lol. I can seriously wake up at 4 in the morning and read the watch easily in complete darkness. Just walking in the house after being in the sun for a minute, you'll catch that beautiful blue lume in complete daylight. What else? Screw down crown. More water resistance than you'll ever need. Honestly the only thing that upsets me about this watch, is that after seeing numerous YouTube videos on it, learned it once sold for around $150usd about a year ago!! That's insane to me. People will even buy from you that little scuba tank the watch is packaged in, further offsetting the cost of this beast! So in conclusion, I love this watch. Do I still love the legendary Seikos...the 007, Sami, Sumo etc?.....sure. But for half the cost with better accuracy, I have zero regrets with this purchase. And to be honest, being in a few different FB watch groups....EVERYone has one of those Seikos and it gets plenty old seeing them daily. This is the watch for the dude that's into watches and knows how good the specs are, and only needs to impress himself. An underdog watch and easily worth the $200 price tag.

Great price for what it is and what it usually costs in retail stores.
