DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON YOUR PET! I recently purchased this product for my cat since I do not want to declaw her, but am tired of sacrificing my furniture. I initially thought they were great as my cat doesn’t mind them, and they were easy to apply, but after finishing the application I had some of the glue squeeze out onto my pants and it BURNED ME. I literally could not get my pants off quick enough (thankfully they didn’t stick to my leg or it would have been an even more painful experience). After that, I now have a painful open-blister burn on my thigh that had to have acetone put on it to further remove the remaining glue that didn’t come off from the peeled blister. I feel awful that I put this on my cat, and WILL NOT be using this product again. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Went on easy enough. I have trimmed my cats nails before, so that wasn't hard. The cats have gotten used to that part. Trying to squeeze glue out while holding a mad kitty was a little bit of a hassle, but even with the big cat that puts up a fight, it took less than 10 minutes to complete two cats. The older cat seems to notice them, she's anxious anyway, so we'll see what she does. I gave a 3 for durability until I see how long they last one both cats.Word of caution.. don't use good scissors to cut the glue tip off, I ended up with a giant blob of glue on my favorite quilting scissors and had to use nail polish remover to get it off.Bigger word of caution... all this talk about gluing fingers together.... don't glue yourself to kitty either. I didn't realize I had glue on my hand and it dried to kitty's fur. Fortunately it was the good natured cat and she didn't seem to mind.UPDATE: It's been a few days and both cats still have their caps on. I thought for sure the older one might try to chew them off. Neither will wear a collar and will wreck the house trying to get it off. They also both spaz when I put flea treatment on them. So the caps must not be noticeable to them.Also, one of the cats tried jumping on my chair and didn't jump high enough, she was planning on using her claws to pull her up. She slid right down the front of it. Next attempt, she got enough air to get on the chair and has since had no problems. I wish I had tried these earlier to protect my favorite chair and ottoman, but at least the new sofa is saved.I will purchase these again!UPDATE: It's been two months and these are awesome! I check them every week or so and replace any that have fallen off, and I still have more than half the pack left. The big cat that was mad about being held has gotten used to me handling her feet and I have started putting the glue in the caps and having them ready so she doesn't have to be held while I am putting glue in. If I showed you a pic of my recliner and how shredded it is and compare it with the couch that arrived when I started using the covers.... huge difference.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical when I ordered these, there were mixed reviews that made me suspicious… but honestly, trying it out, my cat has adapted to these claw caps so well, and they are so efficient, that I thought they deserved a review. Furniture is not suffering with the scratches and I can finally play with the baby without concerns of getting hurt by accident. If applied correctly they do last the time it’s advertised. On my first try, we lost a few in the first couple of weeks, but it’s very obvious that the ones that fell off were the ones that had been applied incorrectly. Practice makes perfect, so you’ll probably need a few attempts before getting the hang of it. The colors are pretty cute, too! I’ll repurchase. This product does exactly what it was intended to do. The adhesive they give you is STRONG. Stronger than super glue products, which is good because my little kitten doesn’t really like them and, at first, kept trying to pull them off. I feelbad but I have a 1 year old that loves her. My kitten loves my daughter but she’s also a kitten and plays a little rough soo these were necessary. I wish I could give AMAZON a bad review because my product came at like 10 pm and, I’ve had products left outside my apartment door, in the office, and inside my mailbox no problem. I got a late notification saying my package was delivered in my mailbox (it was late so I went to get it in the morning) THIS one was left next to the trash can near my complex mailboxes. Wtf amazon.

LOVE THESE! They serve their purpose. I can say tho , my cat WAS NOT happy when i was putting them on. Literally pissed, luckily i had my mom to hold her down , its definitely a two person job. I have a 6 week old kitten and ordered the extra small but they were still too big so i had to cut each with toe nail clippers, no biggy . DO NOT CUT THEIR NAILS before putting them on, you have to have enough nail to put them on so if u cut them that will be almost impossible and very uncomfortable for the kitty! All in all everything is good tho!

This is the same item you can buy at the pet store but for MUCH less. I have 4 cats but only 1 is not declawed. I keep these on her to keep her from tearing up my new furniture. They normally last about a month or so before we have to reapply. She's not happy when we are putting them on her but afterwards she doesn't seem to be bothered by them. Don't hesitate to try them.

AMAZING!! Our kitty was destroying our furniture that we got not even a year ago, and I mean really messed it up. She kept wanting to use the leather as a scratch pad and I was going crazy trying No scratch sprays, tapes. Nothing worked. Boyfriend brought up declawing but I don’t believe in it, found these and WOW they work so well & now kitty has a pedicure 💞💞💞💓Bought size medium for my 1 1/2 year old kitty

I had my doubts, but we inherited my late son's cat and our other cat is declared. Plus we have dogs, and numerous other reasons we were stressed about her claws. So we tried these and they work! She's had them on a couple of weeks now! She has bonded with my daughter and claws on her door when she wants in. Love em!
