CLUBMAN DELUXE TORCH 1 MILLION C/P JACK PLUG, Black

Bought this professional torch as I do a lot of night work. I am also in and out of a storage yard late at night. It's very bright and the beam seems go about a mile on open ground. Secondary light is ideal for reading maps or instructions, or even as a walking light. Its not a cheap torch. But I the sort of thing you only buy once and look after. So far very pleased.

Amazing torches, after buying similar candle power torches in the past (for a much lower price) the expense of this torch is well worth it.Two settings, full beam which will last approximately 2 hours of continuous use and a second power option that seems infinite - well I left two torches on overnight and they were still shining mid way through the following morning.They do take a while to charge - but that's to be expected as they are so powerful.If the torch is needed for professional use, there really isn't an alternative.The price I bought these for on Amazon were much, much cheaper than other sellers too.

Handy low light setting. The bright light is really bright, lasts longer than it says it does on a charge. There is a holster for the handle of the lamp on the battery (you can see it in the photo). The angle the light is set at is adjustable. The light itself is connected by a springy cord--like a telephone's. The two outlets (torch power and power in) are labeled permanently and clearly. And there is a shoulder strap you can attach firmly! It is also not heavy, nor ridiculously bulky. My favourite bright long-range torch.

I bought mine direct from Cluson Engineering in Hampshire UK by calling into their shop. I've had mine for well over 12 years. The first initial battery that came with the torch when I bought it lasted well and held out OK, but slowly started to degrade over time and not hold a charge long enough, but I still carried on with it despite for a few years. The good thing with this torch is that every single bit can be replaced from the Cluson web site and this is what attracted me to invest in one.I was very happy with mine 12 years ago and hasten to add, 12 years ago it was a top torch. It lasted well for several years, only having to replace a couple of bulbs, however, I called into their shop again to invest in a new battery, not so long ago. They sold me a dud! It lasted roughly 10 or 15 charges and was very disappointed they sold me a dud.12 years ago, this was one of the best torches out there at a million candle power, however, torch technology has made considerable advancements and this torch has been over taken by far superior HID lamps. This Cluson lamp uses old halogen bulbs and just can't touch HID torches. As a result of this and very angry the manufacturer/shop sold me a dud battery, the torch is in the attic collecting dust as I refuse to buy another dud battery direct from Cluson.Believe me, if you want a good torch get a far superior HID torch, just check out video web sites and you'll see HID is the latest and far superior technology than halogen.

Bought for husbands work this is the second one he has had very pleased with the range of light

The torch works well and the instructions were very helpful. The torch is used for newt surveying at night, and the instructions say it should be left on charge and when not in use should never be left with a dishcharged battery. I hope following this instruction will prevent me from losing my expensive torch as others have done.
