Great for increasing the lifetime on your strings

I purchased this one instead of the 2 pack because I wanted the one in the picture(the one I have been using). The red metal cap that fits tightly with a nice container and instead of this flimsy one with a plastic brown lid. Also the actual piece that you rub is different so not really sure if it will work the same. If I had known that it was a different unit, I would have only bought 1 or 2 to test instead of 5. They claim that it is using the same oil, but a different scent and the part that you rub on the guitar is definitely changed(the type of material). Some people say that the new one is a bit more runny so the oil can be more messy. Haven't tried it yet because I'm afraid to put it on my brand new Pro ii Strat. Hopefully they will update the picture so it wont be misleading. 1 good thing about the new version is that there is a plastic lid that covers the fast fret so it will prevent it from drying out as fast. Honestly not sure if the new version is better or not. Just a bit upset because I feel mislead by the old pictures of the previous version.

Many years ago, these used to have wood handles. a few years ago, they had plastic round handles. Now they have black plastic "stick" handles. A few years ago, the dabber was denser and they've changed this, so I'm not sure how it's longevity will compare but so far it seems to work just as well as the older versions.

Very good product!!! Helps you increase your speed along the strings quite well. Of course it’s not going to increase your skill level just your speed from location along the fretboard.

It is what it is and does what it does. This item isn't easily found in my local music stores. It was sure easy to buy it here. It arrived promptly.
