Installed on a 2019 GLI. I was a little concerned they might be loose, so was prepared to shim them with tape - but they both sit perfectly, no slop, and in silver look great inside the car. As others have said install is easy, you can find videos online to help and be careful you will chew up the pins holding the OEM paddles in a little with needle-nose pliers but once you turn the wheel its just moments to swap each side. Been running these for several months now with absolutely zero issues or regrets.

Product was very well made, out of the box I was impressed on how nicely these feel. Installation was a breeze and everything went smoothly. It’s crazy that this is based off of a $225 version of these paddle shifters. For the value this one is the way to go. The $225 rip off version is more of a glossy finish while this is more of a flat finish, which in my opinion, looks and feels better. I’d 100% recommend these to any DSG Golf owners! Fit my MK7.5 Golf R flawlessly!

This came in defective. Right paddle shifter is missing a notch (compare it to the left) Install took 1 minute with needle nose pliers for the left shifter. Pretty disappointed at the moment but hopefully the replacements will be good. Gave it two stars for nice material. Will change my review once replacements are installedUpdate: they sent a new set that were fine. Definitely enjoy the ride with them. Solid and very little play.

They look very good when installed however when the right paddle doesnt fit properly. When the pin in pushed all the way in the paddle locks up and you cant press it or shift gears. If the pin is only put in part of the way it works however its loose and will probably fall out. The left one fits and works perfectly. Im not sure if it is just a defect with the one i received but just be careful when purchasing these.

1st thing is there are no instructions that come with these so if you have not figured out Google yet you might have an issue.Installed in a 2018 VW Golf R.Simple 5 minute job. Small needle nose pliers are all you need.Rotate the wheel upside down. Locate and remove the pins holding the stock paddles, but keep the pins as you will use them to hold the new paddles in place. The pins are plastic so don't be too aggressive taking them out.The new paddles go right where the stock ones came out of. Use the stock pins to hold them in place.I've have had them in for about 100 miles of driving and so far I am really impressed. They are right where they should be, feel as reactive as stock, and look great. The silver doesn't match the interior trim on my R, but I wanted them to stand out vs black. The red looked a bit too much for the subdued R interior, but would have looked good in my GTI.I would recommend these to anyone deciding between the big dollar name brand or the stick on ones.

Wow. I cannot believe I even considered paying over $210 for the “name brand” product. These came in at not much more than a tenth of the cost of the name brand and for the life of me I cannot see why anyone would pay over $200 for the same thing. The finish is flawless and the milling is precise. Very nice anodized finish and mine came with zero imperfections. The installation was a breeze once I found the right sized pliers (I used a keychain leatherman multi tool and worked perfect without causing damage to surrounding area). Cannot recommend this product enough. They add a good extension to the DSG paddles. I would have liked it to be a piano black finish to math the trim on my Golf R a little better but overall so impressed by these.

These paddle shifters look good, but three main issues that caused me to return these and get another brand (and was the different brand ones, around the same price, were prefect). 1) the original pin does not go all the way in and is loosely hanging out, 2) the shifters are too loose, especially one side (it's almost wobbly), 3) it doesn't make the clicking noise (the different brand one that I got, which is also around $25, is a perfect fit and makes the pleasing clicking noise when shifting).

The name brand versions of these cost hundreds of dollars. It's absolutely absurd. These are extremely well manufactured and do just as good of a job. Very easy to install. Only minor downside is that there is a little bit of play once installed. I had planned to fix this with a few loops of unwaxed dental floss, but ultimately it did not bother me enough to take them back off, and they're really easy to take off. Absolutely by these instead of spending three hundred bucks on the same thing with different packaging.

Unbelievable value for $30 plus $2 discount. All you need are some needle nose pliers. The pin slides out easier than you’d think. Took 20 seconds per side. Quality is great, which is was a little smoother but can’t beat the price. Can remove at any time if need be. Scratched the OEM pin a bit with the pliers so careful on that. 10/10 would recommend. Fit is great, not wiggly.

Getting the original paddles off isn't bad if you have some thin needle nose pliers, easier if they have teeth and tape off your wheel to not scratch the leather. Putting these on was fairly easy, only issue I had was if I pushed the pin through the whole way the paddle was stuck and won't move. When I pulled it out some the paddle was loose. Finding the sweet spot to where they are on just right was tricky. Other than that they work great and look a lot better than the original tiny ones.

Easy to install and looks like good quality, not my first rodeo installing MK7 golf paddle shifters. Problem is that they don't bounce back/click. They are mushy and get stuck when up shifting and you are constantly having to push it back with your finger to reset it so you are able to shift again.Return of the product was easy.

Fit my 2021 GLI perfectly. Solid metal with a nice finish. They felt very spongey at first, but after a few hours of driver they offer the same tactic feedback as the original pedals.
