True to description
I am pleasantly surprised to see that each pair are individually wrapped, though I supposed that only makes sense, so you don't have to go through and measure each of the smaller ones to match them because it gets fairly hard to distinguish some of the sizes. If they do become mixed up once they are open, they are conveniently marked with their size in millimeters. They are of nice quality and come exactly as described. While I do not think I could successfully use the very thin needles without breaking them and I would purchase steel knitting needles for those sizes, I don't hold that against this review because, as I said, they came in EXACTLY as they were described on Amazon. Included in the package is a useful little card that has rulers on two (2) of its sides. One side is measured in inches, up to 6, and the other side is in centimeters, up to 15. Down the center of the card, it gives you a list of three (3) different measurements used for knitting needle sizes. It has millimeters (mm), US sizes 0-15 gauge, and a measurement listed as GWR from 00-14 which I am unfamiliar with.

Every size you need, and great price.
These are great! Size accuracy is close (you can’t expect exact when it’s a natural material, but they are very close and work fine for the application). The tips are very smooth and glide into stitches easily, no snags. Great for travel, and smaller projects.

30 Piece Knitting Needle Set
As an avid knitter, I’m always on the lookout for good quality needles without breaking the bank, and I’m pleased to say that this 30 piiece bamboo knitting needles set hits the mark for affordability and functionality. Quality: The bamboo material feels smooth to the touch and provides a decent amount of grip on the yarn, making it easy to work with various types of wool. While not as polished or premium as higher-end needles, they do the job well. The bamboo is lightweight, which reduces hand strain during longer knitting sessions. That said, they could be a little smoother, but for the price, the quality is solid. Variety: This set includes a great range of sizes, from small needles for delicate projects to larger ones for thicker yarn. The variety makes it easy to experiment with different yarn weights and patterns, and I love having so many options in one set. Affordability: At such a low price point, I wasn't expecting professional-level quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. For a beginner or casual knitter, this set is fantastic—offering good value without a hefty price tag. The needles are certainly more than capable for everyday knitting projects. Durability: I’ve used them for several weeks now, and they’ve held up quite well. Bamboo is known for being a bit more delicate than metal, so I do handle them with care, but I’ve had no issues with breakage or bending so far. Comfort: I also favor these over the common needles made with aluminum and nickel, which tends to leave my fingers and hands tingling and numb after using for any extended length of time. Downsides: The main drawback is that the needle caps can sometimes feel a little loose or uneven, which could cause minor issues if you’re working on very fine projects. Also, while they’re generally smooth, a few of the needles have a slight roughness on the shaft, which could cause some yarn catching. Overall: For the price, this set of bamboo knitting needles is a great choice. They’re lightweight, functional, and offer a great selection of sizes. While they may not compare to high-end brands, they perform well for casual knitters and beginners. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly set of needles, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try!

This is a good value purchase!
This is one of those situations where you get what you pay for but you are also getting a good deal. There are 18 pair made of bamboo, not the highest quality, but smooth and easy to hold. The yarn glides smoothly and transfers nicely. Because the bamboo isn't the highest quality, the not are not perfectly straight, but none of them were outrageously misshapen. When working on a new project that calls for a size that you don't normally carry, this is the perfect solution to solve that problem. Sizes include 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.5, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.5, 4, 3.75, 3.5, 3.25, 3, 2.75, 2.5, 2.25, 2

Great set of budget needles
I just started knitting and wanted to buy a complete set of needles since I kept needing different sizes. These were nice and smooth and easy to use. I'm a bit surprised at the quality. The head of one of the smaller needles fell off, but to be honest I might have sat on it. I used a dab of super glue and it was good as new. I have a pair of "brand name" needles and to be honest it's hard to tell the difference between them. Random tip that I did, I took a set of paint pens and colored the nubs of each head to differentiate the sizes. It applied nicely, and now I can grab the correct size at a glance.

I was surprised at how small they are, wouldn't be suitable for larger Items. Pity really. Limited to what I could use the for. Plus I dislike the feel of them. I have never used them before and it's like chalk on a blackboard. Not sure if I'll get much use out of them.

I like these bamboo needles very much and bought them because they are shorter (10"), they are smooth with no rough spots and are extremely well finished. The package has all needed sizes you would ever need and is excellent when learning to knit. The really small needles might snap if you were rough with them or perhaps were a tight knitter, but they are light in the hands and do the job. The 14" aluminum ones I started with were so long I could not knit comfortably on the couch, this is so much better when learning to knit and are doing smaller projects like hats, mittens and such. You can make a hundred different things with this size needle and save the big needles for a blanket. NanaV

Great for beginners sturdy and not too slippery

I should have bought these when I started knitting. I tried the plastic and they were too flexible, so I got discouraged and stopped knitting and said it wasn't for me. So I leaned to crochet. But somehow, I find knitting is prettier than crochet sometimes so I tried again. Years later, I tried metal and they were too slippery,...but I was determined to succeed in this challenge. " IF SHE CAN DO IT, THEN I CAN DO IT" RIGHT? SO I TRIED these Bamboo Ones... wonderful, light weight, not slippery grips well. it's like the yarn knows when it's time to move and stay put. Now I knit the continental style and it works faster than when I started years ago. I should have bought these... If you want to try knitting, start with bamboo. YOU SHOULD BUY THESE.
