Nice beater rack
And no, I'm not talking about a roof rack on the ancient Toyota that was my first car! This brush beater rack does the job well. If you can't find a trash can that's just the perfect size, some of those clear plastic storage totes are the right size as well. If they are slightly too tight, you can push the rash down into them and have it hold nice and steady. This item does a good job with my brushes and seems to be well made.

If you love to paint, do yourself a favor and buy this now.
This thing is dandy. I use it every time I paint. Works great. I sat it down into a tall, slender, rectangular laundry basket with wheels, that I found on Amazon. I lined it with a tall kitchen garbage bag first, and no paint splatters over the top, which is important because I paint in a carpeted guest room in our home. Inexpensive tool that I wouldn't want to paint without now that I have.

Beat the devil out of it!

Does it’s job, but a little overpriced.
This works as expected... it’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be (which I like)! This would fit into one of those small desk trash cans at the bottom and allow you to use it to clean/beat your brushes. It’s a simple contraption... a little over priced for what it is in my opinion, but it does the job for what it’s meant to do.

Game changer for the Bob Ross method!
It's wild how much quicker and easier it is to paint with the Bob Ross method (especially if you only have 1 of each brush like I do to start) with the brush beater rack in a small trash can. I did two paintings where I tried just shaking it off in a trash can or beating it on the side of my table, which was a total mess and didn't get all of the paint & thinner out of the brush.Putting this rack in a 7 gallon rectangular trash can (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013CQ5EO) made a world of difference. Keeps the mess contained and allows you to "beat the devil out of it" much quicker with much less left in the bristles. This and the thinner bucket/screen cut my brush cleaning time in at least half during paintings.Worth every penny if you're doing Bob Ross paintings with any regularity!

Does what it's designed for... beating the devil out of it.
I have started painting again and I'm glad I remembered Bob Ross mentioning this nifty device for cleaning my brushes. Works very well, easy to clean with soap and water. Most of all, I enjoy beating the devil out of my brushes on this. One tip I would give is to build a wooden frame around it so the paint is contained easier.
