Aesthetically pleasing gadget which I bought to use with a Dell XPS 15, which has a Thuncerbolt 3 port. However, when using the USB ports on this hub, only one unpowered external memory store can be used at any one time. Other devices require an independent power source. I suppose this was to be expected, although not even my mouse will work from it unless used on its own. Some reviewers seem to suggest that more devices are functional when the hub is used with the Macbook. I am not really disappointed as it does increase the number of connection ports on my computer. I have not tested its transfer speed.

I have a Macbook pro-2017. I have a bunch of units that I need them to be connected to the laptop and I was running out of ports. I also needed an SD Slot to deal with my NIKON Camera Memory and a TF slot for my GoPro Hero 6 memory card. This compact USB C Hub has it all. The power delivery (PD) port charges my mac faster. It has 3 USB 3 ports, RJ-45 (NIC) port, an SD/TF Flash Memory Slot and an HDMI port.I plugged my NIKON camera memory card into the SD port, also TF card from my GoPro Hero 6 camera, a WD My Passport 1TB Drive into the USB 3 port and a USB 3 Flash Memory stick into one of the USB 3 port. They all were recognized by my MAC book and opened.Although, in my case, it got warmed up to 38.8°C (see picture) but in terms of functionality, nothing wrong. It seems it is normal as any electronic device gets slightly warmer after a certain time of use. It was still doing its work, transferring data, RJ45 connection was live. I am very happy with the purchase. It works exactly as I expected.

Loved using it with my Mac. all in one device. love the metallic feel unlike the plastic feel that ive ordered an broke and stopped working. would order again. one of the best devices out there. i travel a lot, so this tool is super handy. have the piece of mind if it doesnt work, a replacement is offered. excellent piece of device that does everything it says on the tin.

This is a must have gadget if you have a latest laptop, Mac Book, iMacs as USB C is going to be the future for connectivity for next few years. This is exactly what I wanted in one compact perfect unit. I would recommend anyone to buy this closing your eyes as this unit will not fail you.Very fair price, good quality and sturdy. Tested this with MacBook, Samsung 9s. Worked like magic. Very happyAs I have shown on the attached pictures, I use this for multiple purposes. I am a teacher and use this for projecting from my Mac Book. Also I use it to connect it to the network with a LAN cable and to copy data from an external hard drive using the USB C.A brilliant piece of kit everyone should own. I wanted a hub that had a spare USB port once keyboard and mouse were plugged in, and ethernet because that's far more reliable than wi-fi. Other reviews said it worked with DEX so I bought it and am happy with its performance and the number of I/O options it provides.I've tested it with my S8 running Pie. Interestingly, when no external power is used the HDMI output shows a mirror image of the phone. But when power is added DEX starts up and you're in desktop mode.

I quite keep travelling to different countries in Europe and I was tired of carrying different gadgets and converters until I found this hub. It is a one stop shop in terms of the number of ports it have. HDMI ports provides 4K crystal clear picture as when I connect my Macbook to Samsung smart TV. The SD/TF card slots work perfectly and the best thing is all the ports can be used simultaneously. Moreover the color of the product matches my macbook pro which makes it look nicer.Though it gets slightly warm, initially I was worried that the device may stop working but noticed that it never failed in terms of functioning even you use for long duration. It works perfectly as described. A happy customer.

A great little product that means I can connect my MacBook Pro to a HDMI cable, Ethernet, and charge it all from the same port. The MacBook Pro is a great thin machine but the USB C only ports are limiting. Therefore a device like this is pretty essential.I read before buying that this gets quite hot during use and it really does get hot. However, as long as it's not covered over it should be fine.I've only had this a short time but from my experience so far I'd recommend it.

I purchased this hub for my macbook pro 2017, i used it with HDMI for a second monitor, RJ45 for the network cable and 1 USB for the apple keyboard. The item worked 6 hours before the RJ45 went off and never came back.I contacted seller who has a very reactive and very efficient support. The remplacement went off very fast and I got the new one after few days. The replacement works well so far ( 3 days ) but it's heating a lot and I'm really not convinced it can hold the multiple inputs in the long run, but still hoping for the best.
