Don't bother
The concept sounded good: a platform to create cool things. However, the implementation falls way short. The beams are supposed to snap into the grooves on the "brains." However, the grooves are very shallow and they don't snap. It's more like, the beams fit snugly into the grooves on the "brains." So it falls apart rather easily. My kid made an iPod stand and it fell apart when she put her iPod on it. I took a look at it and tried to make it stronger, but you can't. The grooves are just not deep enough to construct anything that can hold any kind of weight. Definitely not worth it. I'd look elsewhere for engineering type toys.

Three Stars
Pieces fit together so snugly that my child struggles putting them together and taking them apart.

Simple and Simply Boring
Really not that fun or entertaining for anyone in our age group. Did 2 builds and never looked at it again. Oh well.

This was a disappointment for me and the 12 year old I gave it to. Maybe it's best for younger kids, but it was a bit one dimensional and boring for us.

Great kit for budding engineers/scientists!
My nephew LOVES this large lab kit, we are keeping track of all his "inventions"!

Hanz Innovations Inventors Lab Kit, X-Large
Seems to be acceptable quality and the kids were playing with it, so that's a good sign.
