Phantom ANC

So far this is the best helmet I have own, the ANC is good enough, it helps a lot. The sound quality is one of the best I have ever tried. And it fits perfectly.

ANC isn’t as good as expected, decently quiet, still has some wind noise but audio is great.

I recently purchased this helmet and as soon as I received it, I charged and went for a 3 hours drive to test it out. At first I was disappointed with the sound. After I took about 5 minutes to adjust the settings on my phone, the sound was phenomenal. The bass sounds amazing. Even at 70mph on the interstate, I barely had any wind noise without the ANC on. I did not get a chance to test ANC since I was bringing my motorcycle to the shop for break in maintenance. I test the call quality which the other individual could hear me clearly without background noise. There wasn't much pull on the helmet from the wind. The front light is nice and bright. I did not check the rear light since I am not for sure if it's legal to have on in the state I'm in since some states do not allow it. The shield did not fog up even though it was 33 degrees Fahrenheit out and I do not have the pinlock. The lid clicks shut nicely. The helmet is nice and comfortable, however I did order once size larger than the size chart said for my head since I've always needed to order one size over measurement charts. Being able to set ambient noise on also is useful when chatting to others without needing to take the helmet off. The slide down sun shield works well when there is glare or sun in your face. It is super easy to slide down while wearing gloves and moving. The weight of the helmet wasn't really noticeable to me in difference compared to other helmets once communication devices are installed. The downside is the durability, the helmet was blown off my seat by a gust of wind which is about 31 inches off the ground, the helmet pushed in on one side causing the shade screen to no longer be able to be used.

Arrived broken, left speaker constantly cuts in and out like a wire is just dangling on, it usually happens at speed so u have to assume it’s something to do with the anc

Very nice helmet but I expected the noise cancellation to be better. My Apple AirPods and Apple AirPods Max both offer better noise cancellation. The tail lights on the back of the helmet seem to be too small to offer much protection at night and probably offer none during the day. Finally, the small LED light on the front of the helmet is too dim to be of much assistance, even at night in an emergency. But overall I'm happy as this helmet connects every time to the Apple Car Play on my 2026 Harley Steet Glide (something the other Sena helmets did not always do for unknown reasons. Be warned, this helmet fits very tight for the first several rides before loosening up so it's comfortable. In addition, the side padding is so tight I can't wear glasses unless they have very thin frames.

I have been reading a lot of posts about the terrible wind and engine noise. I was thinking "What is this, I haven't noticed" I got the Sena Phantom helmet with Active Noise Cancellation. Updated the firmware and installed the app on my phone. It has an accelerometer so LED tail lights in the back of the helmet work as active brake lights even when engine braking. The flip down sun visor is a plus. There is an integrated flashlight in the chin to help read maps, etc. It has crystal clear Harmon Kardon speakers. It also does mesh and wave intercom. There is voice control for all of the features (Hey Sena, Flashlight on) and it also enables Google Gemini and Siri. It is DOT and ECE22.06 certified. But most important is the ANC. After reading the posts I tested it. With my bike idling I turned off ANC and was shocked at the increased volume. I had never really grasped how effective this helmet is or how loud riding is with an old fashioned one. Wind and engine noise are tamed SIGNIFICANTLY even at speed and music, navigation prompts, etc. are clean and clear. It lists for $649 but I got 10% off at CG for a total OTD of $620, then got an email that I would get $47 back from this purchase if I joined their ($39) discount club, so I got another $8 back and free discounts and free shipping for a year. In looking for a new helmet my requirements were noise cancelling, flip down sun visor and brake light in the back. I only found 1 that had it all and I am **** glad I bought it. From a health and safety perspective it is probably the best deal out there. If you get one just be sure to get the ANC version and save the ear plugs for when you go shooting. It's the first real Smart Helmet I have seen and it's a game changer. BTW I am in no way affiliated with Sena and got nothing for this post, I just love my Smart Helmet.
