Before discovering this Vessel impact driver, I was unaware of Vessel tools. My collection includes a variety from Craftsman to the lines offered by Lowe's and Home Depot, as well as my father's old tools. While all are decent, none have felt as well-crafted as this one, perhaps with the exception of Snap-on. The weight, fit, finish, and even the included bits impressed me. Using this impact tool was an incredible experience; it loosened a stubborn screw on my Suzuki with the first strike. I was astounded. Although another driver might have achieved the same result, I have my doubts. The included JIS bits gripped as if I had applied super glue to the screw head. I immediately began searching for more Vessel products upon unpacking this tool and even purchased a set of JIS Phillips impact screwdrivers that same day. They, too, are remarkable. I regret not discovering Vessel sooner. Now, I'm eager to buy anything they make. I had no intention of purchasing more tools before this, but this impact driver has proven its worth. I now highly recommend Vessel tools. This driver is worth every penny and more.

Good product solid build works great.

Ordered this on Oct 29th, 2024 and finally got the opportunity to use it on Jan 5th, 2025 for brake rotor screws. Only two hits with a hammer and got the screw out with ease! This unit is equipped with 1/4" hex to fit the included Philips and flathead bits, or one can take the adapter off and put a 1/2" socket (I think?) onto the end. The quality of this tool is immaculate. I think my only very small complaint is that this tool smells weird when brand new? Does anyone else think this....?

Bought car out of state, but needed to do brakes before leaving. Bought this for the screws on rotor and worked like a charm. Seems well made, durability? Time will tell. The cheaper impacts the bits are cheap and would need to buy the Jis bits. This impact has the Jis bits really the same price if buying cheaper impact and then buying the bits. Need good hardened bits or they break.

I needed another one of these and I'm glad I went with this one. I have many other Vessel products and have been very satisfied with every one so far. It looks great and it has a very smooth action. I expect this hand impact will outlast me. It would have been nice to have a case for it, but that's not a huge deal. I got this one mainly to use on stuck bolts where it's a 1/2" drive.

Stuck brake rotor screws? Use this and beat the crap out of it and wham, not stuck anymore. Very heavy handle and transfers the weight well. As easy as can be. Just place the driver and whack away. Not stuck anymore. Works as it should. 10/10 for when you need it. Have used this more times than I’d like to admit and it has never skipped a beat.

Works great butter smooth. The guards better than nothing but not really that effective as it’s really soft rubber I was expecting something like hockey puck hardness so a little disappointed on that front but just don’t hit your hand right?

Ok. Yet to use this in action so this is a first impressions review. Bought a cheap charlie impact driver from the B warehouse because my preferred premium Aussie brand wasn't being stocked and special order. This thing was completely hopeless, a few whacks and simply failed and had to be returned. Googled the premium Aussie brand only to find multiple complaints about it as well. Love their sockets etc, they're the best but I guess brands all have their forte and weaknesses. For the sake of a bit of patience in getting from OS and the same price as local inferior product the superior Japanese engineering here is very evident, even the weight is substantial so expectations are it will be superior.I'll report back once used.

Works much better than the megadora impacta series screwdrivers. This is a heavy duty manual impact driver and has come in very handy with seized 40+ year old Japanese JIS fasteners

It’s working! No time for review…… must remove more stuck fasteners!!!! Two years later and keeps working! Stuck oil pump JIS bolts and clutch retainer!!!

It did the first Job really good. Let's see how it goes in the future.
