perfect for my new pc build
This was for my new pc build that had an Intel CNVI card slot. Could have purchased a kit that included the antennas on a PCI slot cover but I didn't like the look of it nor did I want to occupy at PCI port. Paired with an incredibly cheap CNVI card ($14) it allowed me to hide the wireless card and antenna cables by routing the leads around the back and drilling new holes in the case. This requires a 1/4" drill bit by the way.The only challenge I had was mounting the antenna leads to the card itself--it is TINY!. Good luck and be really patient with this part. It seems impossible to connect the leads to the card if the card is already mounted to the motherboard. I recommend that you pre-attach the antenna leads using good lighting, glasses, and maybe a magnifying glass. I used the back of a plastic pen to press the antenna on the port once properly aligned. Once on, it holds incredibly tight so you can route the whole assembly where you want it.

I fly quads
I own a taranis x9d+ for flying quadcopters. Frsky includes a handy tool in their controllers called range test mode. I compared these antennas to standard round dipole type in range test mode by reading the RSSI level until it dropped, meaning no signal, then I unscrewed it and screwed on the standard 6 dbi dipole antenna. These flat shaped antennas get significantly worse reception than dipoles, and are not fully omni-directional. They are biased towards certain directions, unlike a dipole. I don't know what shape they are inside, I will have to break one to find out. I thought these flat ones were supposed to be pretty universal, but if you have to depend on it for your quadcopter, find another antenna.

Not Bad! – Best performance at the 5.2 GHz to 5.8 GHz End
Well-made antenna with better performance at the upper end. Return loss at 2.4 GHz is -7.5 dB with a VSWR of 2.46. Best performance at the low end is right at 2.534 GHZ with a return loss of -20.0 dB and a VSWR of 1.22. A good usable range it 2.45 GHz to 2.70 GHz.At the upper ends, performance is better with 5.8 GHz having a return loss of -16.0 dB and a VSWR of 1.38. Best performance is at 5.41 GHz with a return loss of -20.42 dB and a VSWR of 1.22. Good usable range is from 5.1 GHz to about 5.85 GHz.For the price, these antenna are a good deal and the sells claims of 8dBi of gain are valid, nice they included test plots although my tested performance at 2.5MHz showed much better performance that the sellers plots. Not a bad thing.

Must have with internal WiFi card
Installed a WiFi card on a micro Dell PC. Didn’t know until after installation that it needed an external antenna as well.... oops.Did some research, settled on this one for the value and quick shipping. Installed in a cinch, the antenna wire was long enough to thread through the PC and connect to the adapter. Screwed the connector onto the PC case, then the antenna connection. Did a test from across my house - almost full strength.Saved me from having to buy a gimmicky USB WiFi adapter, and the installation looks like it came straight from Dell. Very pleased!

Very small connection points make this hard to connect
The connection points are very small. But that's the whole idea behind the m.2 Wi Fi adapter . I installed it on the Asrock mother board. Works great. I had to modify the plate with 2 holes for mounting . Using this for Bluetooth reception
Works like it is supposed to. I'm only using it for Bluetooth since I have a desktop and just use a wired connection for internet. A lot of people comment on how difficult it is to connect the wires to the wireless card, but I didn't have much trouble with it. Just take your time when attaching the wires.

Be sure to get the antenna for it to work
Overall, the card works, but you need to buy the antenna for the signals to sent/receive on BT and WiFi. Although I do have quite a bit of BT lag. Not sure if it's the card, mobo or Win10 and none of the suggested fixes out there fix the lag.No such lag with a USB BT dongle... Odd.

They are the correct antennas for Killer AC-1550
I have an EVGA Classified K Z270 with the M.2 type E slot, so on a whim I bought the Killer AC 1550 add in card for it, which doesn't come with antennas. I'm happy to report that these antennas fit perfectly.
