I just want to preface this by saying that I highly enjoyed using this lighting kit when I got it and it really gave nice daylight level lighting for my videos, so from the functional aspect, there is really no flaw.Unfortunately, this softbox or the lightbulb that comes with it is incredibly flimsy/cheaply designed. I got probably 4 days use out of it, went to take it back apart, and imagine by surprise when the bottom portion of the lightbulb that screws into the stand literally came apart in my hands. So I'm left with a broken lightbulb, and the lower portion of the bulb (that screws into the stand) is stuck in the stand and I can't remove it. I'm a weak 110 lb girl, so I doubt I screwed it in that tightly. If the manufacturer can put a little more effort into making sure the screw-in portion of the stand doesn't rip the bottom of the lightbulb off I'd give it 5 stars lol.

These lights are bright when they work. Two of the three were defective right out of the box. They randomly blink on and off. Also, if you bump them they go out. I checked to make sure the bulbs were screwed in tight. The problem seemed to be the light socket was defective. I got the two defective lights replaced. I had to send a video to the seller of what they were doing. Then I had to purchase a new set of lights and they issued a refund. They did take care of the problem once they saw proof they were defective. When they work they do a great job but I was disappointed with the quality. I will update this review if I have any more problems.

I purchased this product to help take indoor photos of products that I sell. I did like that this was a great buy for 2 lights and quickly realized I would need both to achieve the lighting that was needed. They are easily broken down for travel and the case is the perfect addition for this. The only complaint I have is that there were no instructions for assembly so I had to watch a YouTube video of someone just to make sure that I did not install something incorrectly. However this was not enough give less than 5 stars. It is doing what I purchased it for.

They're lightweight but sturdy enough. Metal poles with plastic fixtures. Plenty bright. I would say if you do a lot of traveling and re-setting up, and if the plastic on these will be exposed to lots of UV light, then I would look for something more substantial. But if you are doing what I am- setting them up once in the studio and not planning on moving them around much or taking them down... then I expect these to last a long time.

If you don't know anything about photography and just need to light a product or person, this is the product for you. Its very cheaply made and don't recommend for outdoor use as the soft box is very flimsy. If you just need a quick "studio" for product or head shots this is fine and will get you standard tones. Don't waste your money if you're an actual photographer, spend more on something else and don't buy this brand.I bought this product used for $56 and honestly I don't think I got my moneys worth and it didn't come with lightbulbs as the box and the online description had stated. I talked with customer service and they told me to buy bulbs from amazon and they'll refund the money, which they did. However, it did not help for my shoot that I have for the day so always check the box for ALL the items in the box especially buying used. Pretty disappointed with my purchase but just going to keep it as I don't want the hassle of returning and someone else paid for this for me.It's also a lot smaller in person.

Ordered used-like new condition, they arrived like new! No remotes, just turn on. Cord is a little short. They don't go up super high. They are the best lights for me. I hate my harsh ring light. These produce a nice soft even light. I used it for portrait and flat lays.

2 of 3 Bulbs dead on arrivalOnly received 2 stands with just the clamps for a third that was not there.The 1 working bulb I did get is a joke, very dull.The 2 metal stands that I did get are extremely cheap and flimsy to the point that it’s impossible to even handle the thing at all without bending it.TLDR $75 for 1 of 3 Cracker Jack soft box lights

For the price, this 3 soft box setup is a good starter set. They are lightweight which is a double edged sword- they are a bit flimsy but good enough as long as they are not bumped.These are probably good for photography people but they have a pink hue which makes them less suitable for product shots for posting online. (See side-by-side with photo before/after editing for color correction)

Really happy with this lighting kit set. It was very easy to put together. Came quickly and packaged very well. In comparing to others on Amazon, this was very good value for your buck. It’s provides very good lighting as we have a kids channel and it made a big difference. The quality is great and it’s exactly what I need. The 3 umbrellas really give you a perfect picture both video and photo from different angels. It’s very light weight which makes it easy to travel and move around with. Very happy overall and definitely would recommend it.

I use these softboxes to light my videos at home. I turned my living room into a small production set and these lights work wonders!! I bought another lighting + backdrop set that came with 2 similar softboxes but I needed one more, so I got this one for the boom arm holder. Comparing the 2 products, I'd have to say these lights are much brighter, the boom arm holder is sturdy when using a proper counterweight, and the build quality is overall the same. If you're in the market for one set - this is the set. It's bright, well built, and has a boom arm stand which if bought separately is around 100 bucks so you're getting a fairly good kit for a good price.

I use this product as my mobile videographer set up. Great light set up, lightweight And easy set up. I try to use this set up when my locations are already fairly bright. It is in the most powerful set up especially if you’re shooting video. But I still use it regardless. Super happy with this product thank you!

Within the first hour of use one bulb was found to not work. Second bulb suddenly began making a sizzling noise and created a small fire within the bulb holder. Only lasted a few seconds then quit. Both bulb and fixture no longer work.So in total two bad bulbs, one dead fixture and one customer who is afraid to use any of these lights again. I was an electrician for ten years. Will be trying to return the product. We’ll see how that goes.

This lights are perfect for photography. Easy to assemble and they come with three lights which lights up the room and you can take great pictures. Used it for friends wedding photoshoot and these lights are worth it. Easy to assemble and remove as well. Easy to carry around. Love it and would recommend it.
