Excellent gauge, don't use tubing it comes with
I've been running this EGT gauge for 6 months now and love it. The colors are good and it is easy read in day or night. There are three night time brightness levels you can choose from. At key-on it does a self check routine which includes a full sweep of the needle and flashing of the gauge face itself. The gauge is smart enough to run this check at key-on and then wait while you charge the glow plugs up. When you then start the engine it does not go through self check again, which is unnecessary of course at that point.I gave 4 stars because it comes with clear plastic tubing to hook up the gauge sensor and this tubing gets flexible and pliable from underhood heat and eventually loses it's ability to hold onto the male end of the sensor. This happened while on the road and I had to pull over and cut a new face on the tubing, which only lasted an hour before it also failed. I removed the clear plastic tubing and installed black rubber tubing from Auto Zombie.Overall an excellent gauge, just don't use the clear plastic tubing it comes with.

Dimming function doesn't work
I had to cut the dimming wire because everytime it was activated, it would flash rapidly between dimmed and undimmed.

It looks really nice with both analog and digital read out
I was excited when I bought this gauge. It looks really nice with both analog and digital read out. Super easy to install following the directions. Once the gauge was properly installed I took the truck for a test drive around the block and noticed that the gauge was only reading up to 1psi. I checked the system for air leaks back at the garage and found none. After my initial disappointment I ordered a second sensor from GlowShift hoping that would fix the problem. NOPE, still the same problem with the gauge reading only 1 psi. So now after spending $84 for the gauge and then another $27.99 plus shipping on the extra sensor I am left with just a big hole in my wallet. Still waiting on a response from GlowShift. I am hoping to change this review to a more positive note once the situation gets rectified.
