‘Bonphool’ pure Natural Mangrove Honey is collected from the mangrove forests of Sundarban. It is an initiative supported by Sundarban Biosphere Reserve (Directorate of Forest, Government of West Bengal), West Bengal Cooperative Bank Ltd., Department of Panchayat & Rural Development, Government of West Bengal and WWF-India. Honey is collected by the Maulis (traditional honey collectors) and fishermen by sustainable apiary in the safe and protected camps of remote Sundarban mangrove forests. Every bottle of honey purchased 1. Will help in saving the saving the lives of the traditional honey collectors and fishermen. 2. Will contribute to conservation of Royal Bengal Tigers of Sundarbans. 3. Will help in conservation of Sundarbans, which protects Bengal from cyclone. 4. Will help in improving the livelihood of poor fishermen and traditional honey collectors. 5. The entire profit from selling the honey will go to the account of the cooperative of Sundarban forest fringe fishermen and traditional honey collectors. Good. Little dilute, but natural. Probably will buy it again. O and little bitte, but think that is normal for natural honey.

I grew up in the lap of mangrove till my 22yr of age. But from last 3yr I'm settled somewhere 500km away after my marriage. So it's very inconvenient to get pure mangrove honey whenever I need it. But recently I found outthis bonphool honey...... which is awesome by its taste, smell and purity. Its fresh smell reminds my childhood...... It's not thick like adulterated branded honey(i.e. dabur, patanjali),,, because it's unprocessed, raw and organic.... It will never be crystallized even if refrigerated ..... But only negative point is its price....it costs rs.290-350/kg in sundarban locals which is almost half of the online price. Still I think it's value for money bcoz it's better to pay 680 for genuine honey rather than buying branded sugar syrups..... Support from deepest corner of my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️
