Ok but it's more of a general book on orchids, there are estimated to be over 100,000 species so it's a difficult one - however most plant care books seem to stay clear of a knowledge of pruning in my case that's what I wanted. this one is no different if it's specific requirements for your particular Orchid then I'd set that as a challenge to get the appropriate information, you can narrow it down to hardy ones available at say garden centres this may help this book is about 'Orchids'

Nice photos and good explanations of methods for making the potting mixtures. Good guide to varieties and for anyone wanting a ground would recommend its not a bad place to begin

The book arrived today (earlier than estimated). The book tells you how to repot orchids, when to do so, humidity needed for the different types of orchids. When to feed and water. With great pictures also.

she has enjoyed the book and the challenge of growing her orchids, as far as I can tell she's been successful
