Fantastic for the price. Enough mid-bass and excellent tweeters. Complements my rear door mids and sub in boot very well 😁

Inicialmente ia comprar um kit da Hertz, mas quando vi este, me chamou a atenção, apostei e estou a gostar. Kit muito conceituado nos fóruns internacionais. kit montado num Toyota Etios com módulo audiophonic 800.4 v2

I gave these a shot. Pioneer doesn't list the T/S parameters anywhere I could find. I tested them in optimum enclosures, both running off head unit power, and a power full amplifier. If you just heard these speakers alone and couldn't A/B them, I'm sure they'd sound fine. Next to several speakers I A/B next to - they were noticible sub par. Especially at the price point. I paid 160 for the set - comparing them against 2 RS180P-4's and 2 Peerless NE25 tweeters - was sad. I choose this as the main comparison because those mids are $50 each the tweeters are $30 so it too is 160.00 price point. It wasn't that the Pioneers sounded different, or lacked in some area and excelled in another - it's that side by side it lack so much mid-range detail I was double checking settings, wiring crossover points. The only speakers that I would have choose them over were the essentially free JVCs that come bundled with some Pioneer head units. Ok - they were better than the free ones. Everything else I had available made them look like bargain basement. Also, setting the drivers side by side to the RS180 is like comparing a toy to a serious product. These speakers might be a decent set if they were at a 100.00 or less price point. In the 160 area - I personally giving them away to a friend who needs a stock upgrade because I can't knowingly install them for my enjoyment or sell them to a friend because they are just a plain rip off at 160 for how poorly they perform. I also tested the T/S of the drivers and the FS came out at about 83hz for each. (the FS of those free ones was 125hz lololol) For how much mid-range detail they lacked you might think it's because they were bass heavy - nope they just fall short EVERYWHERE.
