Works reasonably well, but suffers from a flaw, I'm not sure if it's related to me using non-VAX cleaning fluid, or if there is a fault... I have found that there is a lot of foam created which fills up the 'waste' canister and starts overflowing and making its way through gaps out onto the floor, making a bit of a mess... I should probably try with a VAX own-brand fluid and see if it's better...

Bought this to replace a 4 year old Vax Ultra Rapide, which was great but very heavy. This cleaner is much more like a normal vacuum cleaner, not quite as loud as the old one, much lighter to push, and easier to fill and empty. Cleaning-wise, it seems to bring up just as much dirt as the old one! Sadly the design is still such that it's impossible to get all the grime out after use, but that doesn't affect it's performance so I can live with it! Highly recommended.

A huge improvement on the old model. Much lighter, easy to clean every part and works brilliantly too. Good value for money.

Light an nd easy to use & empty dirty water

Second time using this Vax and it set on fire and started smoking. Clearly a faulty product so I would not recommend buying.

Excellent brought my carpets up like new only problem it falls over backwards when left standing

Cleaned my rugs with this as we have 2 dogs and things can get messy. Works really well and simple enough to put together. The cleaning fluid that came with it went nowhere though so make sure you get some extra if you have anything more the a couple of rugs to do right away.
