ProSeries 12 Inch Tailor Scissors for Sewing

Everyone always goes on about Ginghers, but I think Singer may have them beat on this one. I own 2 8" pairs of Ginghers, 1 10" Sam Chu, 1 10" Fiskers Dressmaker, and these 12" Singer shears have become my favorite. It is pretty weighty, but with these beasts, you could cut through ANYTHING! They're bent, so you just sit this flat on the surface and with a couple of snips, you've cut your fabric with no problems. I'm actually considering replacing my 10" Fiskers with the 10" Singers. High value fabric shears without the ridiculous cost

I ordered once to gift it to my wife and had to return it because it was rusted. I ordered another one and again received a rusted piece. Didn't expect this from SINGER.

These make cutting fabric so easy and they are good quality. They are heavy however

I have a very popular YouTube channel which specializes in crafts.For one of my episodes I made festive snowman figurines with styrofoam spheres and fleece fabric for clothes ( approximately 4"-7" tall). I even made the hats with the scissors!!!! Only downside is the instructions don't specify how tight to tighten the hardware on the scissors grip so I broke the pivot screw off and had to send it back and get a new pair. I also found it tiring from the size of the scissors that after making clothes for 15 snowmen, so I also wish that the scissors were smaller and shorter. But what do I know? I'm just a famous YouTuber that makes crafts......

I bought for cutting larger paper at work and this glides right through paper. I'd hate to see what they'd do to a finger they are so sharp. Work well, only down fall is they are a little heavy.

These scissors are hard to open and close, but the real problem is rust. After my laziness of not getting them back to Amazon on time I am stuck with them. My bad, I'll donate them, they may make someone else happy.

Purchased for $25.28 in November 2025. There’s something deeply satisfying about gliding a big, sharp, heavy pair of scissors across fabric, and these Singer 12" tailor scissors absolutely deliver that feeling. Large and bulky to cut with. My hands have arthritis and these scissors are quite big and clumsy. Was hoping for a longer cutting surface (which I definitely got) but they are quite heavy and large for my smaller hand. I’ll keep them because I think for heavier fabric (which I don’t use all the time) they’ll work good.
