Great pens!
Really like these pens. Comfortable, simple, reliable, good-looking, and I feel like a "grown-up" whenever I'm using them!

Parker Counseling Session
I have read a lot of reviews about these pens. Let me help you out. Be grateful that these are still being made. Separate your personal experience from the reality that a product that has been made for decades- will change and what changes are you referring to as your experience is not all inclusive. I have purchased and received these pens since the early 60's. Guess what- USA made ones change. UK and France ones were first made in the 70's- along with USA thru the 90's. Now they are made in India as NP if that what it means. Big deal. Obviously the clip arrow has changed in design- so has USA ones through time. The top click part I know is different. I have had well made and not well made from all origins. The ones here are not made in France as depicted. Only the all stainless one is with the silver arrow clip. By the way if you take USA ones- they too differ in their sizes and tip ends through time. I only checked because of comments saying that one's USA model or old one is different from the new ones. There is/was not a "one size" USA made- there are several. I know. I own them. The best one in my opinion was the all stainless with a gold colored clip and the center was the push part. Had two- fairly close in time bought. USA- made AND quite different from each other. Relax, enjoy these while they are still available. And you can always find a mint old one somewhere too. Ink cartridges: the generics work. I remember it took the originals from much older ones of these pens forever to run out. That was a long time ago. Enjoy them!! They are definitely worth the money and remember - the memories you may have should be cherished. And relax, there were changes made in shape sizes and tips from the SAME country, not just in other countries making them. At least today after what.......nearly 60 years at least- they are still being made. I hope if you purchase this pen or pens you will enjoy them.

It's a Jotter. Not entirely stainless steel, if that's what you're wondering.
They have the look and feel of a Parker Jotter. It has the exact tapered shape of a Jotter. They perform and write as you would expect a Parker Jotter pen. There are with a few subtle notable quality differences that lovers of pen should be aware. I purchased an engraved all-stainless-steel Parker Jotter pen, which I will be using as a comparison to differentiate the quality. First, the "stainless steel" applies only to the obviously stainless steel top half of the pen and the tip, (see pic 1, top from bottom slightly separated). The bottom half of the pen (or the colored portion, if you will) is plastic. When screwing the two halves together (i.e. after replacing the ink refill), DO NOT use too much force. The plastic portion will obviously break if you use too much force. A finer note on the stainless steel tip is that if you drop this pen on its tip, it is less likely to crack. Second, the engineering between the all-stainless-steel jotter and this Jotter are not the same (see pic 2, two pends with their tops off). You will notice that the portion to screw the two halves together is shorter than that in the all-stainless-steel Jotter. The grooves' distances are shorter in the plastic Jotter. What does this mean? In simplest terms, the halves are not interchangeable between this Jotter and the all-stainless-steel jotter; in structural terms, it's not a big deal. It's still pretty snug and secure and it will still handle any stress of daily regular use. Third, the center of mass of this Jotter may affect your handwriting (See pic 3, two pens balancing on a chopstick). The all-stainless-steel Jotter have a balanced weight and a lower center of mass as you hold it in your hand. I notice that it did affect mine; I write almost exclusively in cursive and occasionally doodle and play with calligraphy.

This is a thinner profile pen for smaller hands.
Years ago, I had several Parker T-ball jotter pens, which I really loved. I changed to gel pants for many years, but, lately , the gel pens have been drying up on me and requiring scrubbing, scrubbing, scrubbing on paper to get them primed to where the gel would come out I decided to fall back on my Parker pens like I used to use all the time. These three pans arrived. They are much thinner to hold, although they look identical to the old ones that I used to use. My hand is large, but not overly show. I’m not sure if I will get used to their slender profile. My hand keeps losing its grasp of the thinner, smooth cylinder. They write smoothly, as they did before. I believe I will put these pens into my pen can and use them for a quick note jotting here or there But not for serious prolonged penmanship. Maybe my family members may prefer slender profile pens. If they do, I have some great pens for them. I highly recommend the Parker or anyone who appreciates fun writing equipment like I do, and particularly this model for people who like thinner pens.

Dependable pen, great customer service
I found my self in need of a dependable, stylish pen when the one I had used for years ran out of ink and I could not find replacement refills. I knew Parker to be economical, good looking and to have available refill cartridges, the bigger ones not the stick, plastic tube type. I received my 3 pack in just 2 days and started using one immediately. I decided to check the other 2 before putting them away and one had a dry cartridge. Called customer service and I was treated like one of the company owners! Very sincere apologetic rep who sent me out a replacement immediately even though the replacement cartridges come in a two pack! I am very pleased in all aspects.

An overpriced pen that doesn’t write well
First, the title and description lead you to believe that you are getting 3 different colored pens. That is not the case. They are all blue ink pens. Second, we bought these thinking they would be a nice writing ballpoint pen. They are just a metal encased BIC pen. In fact, BIC pens write better than these. You have to press SO HARD to have a steady flow of ink. For $25, buy something else. This is definitely not worth the money.

Come on people!!
Seriously... The 1or 2 star reviews are pathetic. Saying that these pens are shorter and some saying they're a knock off.... Yes the plastic bottom ones as these are about 1 mm shorter.... Like that makes a difference....They're also not a knock off and some people actually want the ones made in India because of their weight etc. I grew up in the 70's and had a Parker pen. It had a plastic bottom like these. The plastic holds better to the fingers when your hand is sweating. To me it's also nostalgic. These are not only great pens with history but also very economic. The people who complain.... Really, what do they expect to get for less then $15 dollars?? I'd pay that for one of these pens. The fact that I got 3 is just a sweet bonus. Also should be noted that when I was a kid, the red was really a maroon color and it still is, thankfully.... The photo seems as if the red is like a bright red but it's not... It's maroon or burgundy. It shows that you'll always find some angry people in this world who think you can buy the Brooklyn Bridge cheap... They just need to complain about something. For this price, the pens are a steal and I highly recommend them. They don't feel expensive but that's the whole point.... Parker never did. I'm buying another set today.
