Looks great and seems to work.
While I would probably have no issues with the ones that are just styrofoam, the protective plastic shell is a nice extra touch to protect it and help make it last longer. Plus, the color blends in nicely against the brick and I think it looks much nicer than the white ones. While the one outdoor faucet I have is mostly out of the wind and goes directly from the laundry room to outside and is therefore fairly protected from freezing, my other outdoor faucet is on the windward side and also runs through the length of the crawlspace under half the split-level. I used to have a slight bit of heating in the crawlspace but no longer do and wanted some extra peace of mind to prevent any issues.

These work like a champ!
Easy to install. Look better than the cheap white foam ones did against my brick. The same cover, just covered in brown plastic. I would buy them again.

I could've gotten a cheaper, but the plastic casing seem much more reliable.Honestly, since this is my first time trying it out, I can't say if this works, but so far, from what I can see, it looks sturdy.

Easier to put on
These are easier to put on the outdoor faucet than the older style.The hooks became undone, though, on the ones I bought. Put them back together but never had this happen on older ones I’ve been using for years

Nice simple hose protector
Easy to use hose protector for winter, store and reuse it next winter.

Works Well But Bad Sticker
I have used this product for years and it works well to protect my faucet in the winter. I get several years out of this product. How ever it has a large sticker on it that does not come off no matter what you try to do get rid of it. It looks bad on the front of my home, so I paint over it with a black marker.

Have used for many years.
I've used these for many years. They seem to do a good job. Always turn the water off inside the house near the spigot for best results. Pipe insulation is another way to protect against freeze up.
