The quality of the "top" is awesome. It's thick, sturdy, well padded.The quality of the "bottom" is passable. It's made to fold-away, and it holds its shape while the top is on.But the short-sides of the box are prone to sagging-inward, like the bottom of this container was a bag. (Photo attached.)This occurs if you press lightly on either short-side of the box, causing the sides to slightly "fold-in." Also prone to happening if you take off the top.This isn't really a problem, it's just an aesthetically unpleasing consequence of the "foldable" design of this box.Overall, it looks great, and I'm happy with my purchase.

I love this unique rectangular ottoman and I'm very happy with my choice. It's attractive, versatile, useful in many rooms and much nicer than the more common square ottomans (and only a few bucks more).It holds a lot of stuff inside, so I'm storing all my linens inside of it. It's great for a closet since you can store clothes or shoes in it AND sit on it to put your shoes on. It holds up to 300 lbs. of weight sitting on it, so most people can sit on it.It's also very attractive, and useful for extra seating, holding up to 300 lbs. That's two lightweights or one heavyweight.**However, the color description is wrong. It's NOT BURGUNDY! It's a very pretty shade of medium/dark red with no orange tones, and it does coordinate well with my burgundy bedding set, so IMA content because everything else is great.But Amazon gets colors wrong too often, so I had to write this review for YOU! This is not an Ethan Allen piece but it is built with quality. Perfect for occasions or just cool storage. I filled mine with vending machine snacks from Amazon.HUGE hit!Ottoman you say?Snack storage and an ottoman...Made me smile and that's all that matters😊Really happy.....

It arrived early, was easy to assemble. Product is as described. Looks nice and seems very sturdy. I weigh a little over 100lbs so I won’t know how sturdy til my first guest sits on it. But I like it, it’s just what I wanted. Only 15” high so suits me perfectly!

Nice product for the money, but beware if someone tries to sit on it.

I ordered taupe but the two ottomans I received are almost white. As you can see from the picture, the couch on the right is taupe. These ottomans are not taupe as ordered. Product itself is nice. I would have been scored 5 if I received the right color.
