Azel SP-83 Three Zone Switching Relay for Hydronic Radiant Floor Heating Systems

Like everyone says, after about six years old one started making that clicking noise. Friend told me it's one of the relays going bad. Bought this new one and replaced it myself. Just make sure you take plenty of pictures of the wiring before taking it apart to make sure you wire the new correctly.

Very easy to set up and install. I ordered this to replace an SP-82 (two zone controller) because we are thinking of adding another zone. My old SP-82 had one of the relay burn out and it stopped turning on the pump. I'm not sure how it burnt out but it worked well for about 7 years.

I installed this controller in 2009. Turned the system on today and it started clicking. Strangely enough it was still calling for heat in all systems so I let it go for the rest of the day. Got home to it still clicking but everything is still running fine. Emailed the manufacturer and they said it was time to replace it. Ordered another one. It lasted 11yrs. I suppose it was time. It’s be a good product and hasn’t given me any troubles until now so I have it 5 stars.

Lasted 5 years on my house. One day it started to make a "clicking sound" in controller unit (bad Relay Switch) and the zone would not turn pump On.Unit had to be replaced.

I have this exact unit; 6 years old, professionally installed. Needs to be replaced because the main relay is incessantly clicking.
